i suggest using a wired connection not through a router.if you go through one obtain your ps3 mac address and in the routers settings add the address to the mac list.if youre on a wep protected network i suggest using the FIRST encrypted key because its the first one checked by the router. playing with the routers options will help you a great deal. also some isp's on their websites give tutorials on how to configure their service for the ps3 i know charter and comcast do it. thanks for watching

nice find man.. another thing that some ppl dont know is that you can play music and a slide show at the same time.. just press the XMB while playing a song then do to your photos.. Tadda!! a nice musical slideshow for your friends to see.. :D

yes via card reader etc etc , and other ways keep coming up with each new update like with the new updated remote play feature any files is accessible on a specified network.

well think of it this way, lets say your at a friends house and you want to play oblivion but you dont have your game saves on your friends hard drive, well thats when just by connecting to your ps3 wirelessly you could get your saves. there are so many uses for it it boggles the mind, put simply its "freedom" when ever where ever what ever you want.
