Wow, i'd almost forgotten about this, i was 15. Anyone remember spending the night in Leeds train station because the last train had gone...seem to remember there was a lot of us there
OMG, This is awsome I was 13 back then & wanted go see this at wembley stadium but mum had heard bout people gettin crushed at big concerts so wouldnt let me go! Never forgive her for that! lol.
Can't believe this was 22 years ago today, will never forget it, was 16 at the time, and was nearly grounded for being caught smoking the day before!!! 9 shows later, and 7 tours later still the best all round entertainer on the planet! Love live the Queen! Thanks for posting, and the memory!
yep i was there too.. main memories were Hue and Cry as support getting miffed that no one was bothered and lots of us "lads" don the front singeing "get your t**s out for the lads" till she shouted at us "leave my t**s alone lets get on with the singing!!" Which we thought was really cool... ha bloody teenagers eh?
I was down at the front with some mates, too. I remember the chanting of "get your t*ts out". We thought we were the funniest thing ever as well. True about Hue and Cry being miffed. They had plastic bottled thrown at them as well from what I recall.
And to think this lady is still packing stadiums and arenas on EVERY continent!! Amazing archive of a gig little was know about, i mean why Leeds?? Still at least her northern British fans came out in force, all 80,000 of them, apparently around only 2,000 went unsold, i was there and it was probarbly the best night of my life!
thats right motherfuckers...THE BIGGEST FEMALE ARTIST OF THE 20TH/21 CENTURY..

Same here Beekeeper000, I have the audio cassette to along with my ticket, programme and pirate programme from the concert.
I got right to the front too so had a great day.
How many people can remember who the support was ?
Well it was Hue & Cry and the compare on stage was James Whale who worked for Radio Aire at the time.
Happy Days :-)
