#3 - If I may, In terms of an interpretation, my own view of the lyrics is that the protagonist of the song is in absolute yearning for his lover. I hear you say "in God" at 2:48, not "Oh, God!" as Daltry does, so perhaps you read it differently than I - but with muchos respect - I'd really like sometime to hear your version with the chorus sung partly in the style of the original, 1:30-1:40 and "Magic Bus" show you have the voice for it.
