What made Match Game so funny was that all of it came naturally, regardless of the booze, whereas on Hollywood Squares all of the zingers were scripted. Long live MG!!

Anitra Ford didn't clear her appearances to be shown when she was on "Match Game '76" - too bad, as the biggest winner (up to the 'Star Wheel' era) was on those shows!
You are right , Match Game was & is still the Greatest Game Show on Televison and it is almost the same as watching I LOVE LUCY show and Gene Rayburn sure gets his laughs out , doesn't he ..

Brett and Charles died only weeks apart. Charles passing away in May of 2007 and Brett in September of the same year.
