My favourite outro as well, much better then the other one.
Say did anyone notice this (or metnioned this before) : If you listen closely to intro you can hear exactly this outro in the background (it's very soft but it's there, just listen very carefully and concentrate on the back ground tune of the intro).
Yep, they sure don't make 'em like they used to. Pure brilliance.
Said it before, gonna say it again : These 80's cartoons beats the heck outta the crap shown on todays kids TV.
It's the Muppet Babies theme reprise. Very likely from Season 1. Since cartoon thme songs from America, were never officially released, you can't download a full version of this. You could find a music file of this though, whixch was ripped by a fan. Very likely from an old 80's cartoon site or a Muppet Babies fansite.
I was only 6 years old when I first saw the animated Jim Henson's Muppet Babies for the 1st time on CBS back in the year 1984! It was in the fall on CBS sat morn cartoons right after When I saw them in a live action segment in the 1984 feature, The Muppets Take Manhattan!
I miss the 80's also! I remember waiting all week to get up early on sat morn to watch all those good cartoons on CBS! Do you remember The Great Space Coaster?
Yes I remember that. You just took me back!!! I feel sorry for these kids today. They don't realize that the real cartoons are gone. I remember Goriddle Gorilla and all of them. I wish we could get those days back.
MB We'll do the same for you When the world gets kind of weird & you wish that you weren't there Just close your eyes & make-believe & you can be anywhere I like adventure I like romance I love great jokes Animal dance I got my computer I swing through the air I play the piano & I got blue hair Gonzo you make me scream Is everything alright in here Yes Nanny
MB We make our dreams come true MB We'll do the same for you MB
It aired on CBS on Saturday mornings from 1984-1991. Reruns have aired on Nickelodeon, the Disney Channel, Odyssey (now Hallmark Channel), and in syndication.
This is the first season closing theme, which is basically the opening theme without the lead vocals. You're probably familiar with the one used from the second season on, which is actually an instrumental version of the theme to the short lived "Muppet Babies and Monsters" hour.

The theme music is reminiscent of 60's rock and roll. :)
Also if I point to an old show we've watched (me and my siblings) all our lives and esp. as children, my mom will recognize at least 85% of them. :D
