If the chute was any longer, I wouldn't be able to remove any jams.
Personally, if I were to convert to a crusher with a motor, I like the Mega Crusher design better. With that design, can length isn't a problem. It crushes pretty quick so you don't really need a long chute.
But as far as pure mechanical ones go, I still like my design the best. But then again, I am biased. Thanks for the comps.
Beer cans are fine, as long as they aren't the "long" cans. Basically standard length ones. I've actually tweaked it a bit to handle Keystone Light cans, which are a hair taller than Coke cans.

I like this idea as it is faster, or will be when the hopper gets an extension, and now cables or motors!
