i listen to this every so often just to clear the cobwebs of life.......and also to scream with dave. wtf is he saying? doesnt matter... somehow i get it
@XCM666 Then chek out lyrics to "last stop", "stone" and "squirm" Ive seen them 25 times since dec 2005 and i regret only....misssing many shows before.
There is nothing that compares to the energy coming from the crowd and the stage at a DMB show. I see them every summer and feel so connected and recharged after each show. If only we all could take that positive energy, cultivate it within oursleves, and spread it every where we go every day, the world would be a much better place.
Thanks for posting this!! Wish it was in one video though...I have some editing programs if you wanna link up I can edit them together for you unless it has to do with youtube policies.
Is it just me, or does the 'Last of the Mohicans' theme come to mind with anyone else when the solo kicks in?? I love it so much. I could watch it over and over and still get the same chills like I did the first time.
the second boyd starts his solo.... so much chills......... then dave goin off...so many emotions all in the same effort....... so fucking amazing... too much for words, thats why i live for dmb.... no one better
...that whole minute is pouring out emotion - I have never seen Dave that intense in any song - the way he screams reminds me of his performance in "What You Are" at Central Park.
absolutely. This song speaks for itself every damn time. Best version to this date is still on the live at red rocks 1995 with Tim Reynolds. Dave nails the crazy singing part at the end even better than this. It was absolutely spot on.
@EggaChoppaDooey nah the Weekend on the Rocks version vocal solo at the end is better in my opinion! It's kinda funny how picky us dmb fans get through the years haha :)
Nahhhh, there's a Seek Up on the Live Release from Worcester that beats this hands down. From the '99 tour, when they were on FIRE! THis is an awesome version, but its not the best.
