Honestly, people these days know nothing of how farms are run. Sows are in the crates because otherwise they tend to lay on their piglets and crush them to death. Sows are only in these crates for around 3 weeks, until the piglets get weaned. The tails arnt docked because the pigs get bored. They do chew each others tails, only because of their inquisitive nature. Dead pigs are not left in the pens intentionally, they may die overnight, but are taken out the first time they are spotted.
So.. what abuse is happening here? I see nothing wrong here, other than the dead piglet still in the cage, which I do admit should be removed right away.
It's abuse because there are bugs? Work on a swine farm and you try to keep the place spotless and bug free. These animals defecate continuously and roll around it.

I've already said why it's impossible to keep the pigs spotlessly clean. Most pens are set up so that there is an area for the pigs to crap in, but the pigs generally go wherever the heck they please.
I cannot believe that people would do something like this to an innocent helpless animal. Really, the one thing I wanna do in life is to kill each and every animal abuser. Don't give a shit if I get a death sentence at least those fuckers will die.

The vast majority of pig farms do a great job cleaning their farms, providing supplemental heat for baby pigs, promptly euthanizing the sick and removing the dead. I have only been on one "cockroach" farm and the infestation upset the farmers so much that they called in Terminex to get rid of them. It cost quite a bit to remove the bugs and was difficult because many insecticides are not approved for use near food sources.

It is important that farmers educate the public. This video actually shows pretty darn good conditions. Farmers started putting sows in farrowing stalls decades ago to increase piglet surviveabilty. How many piglets do you think would survive born in the wild? I do not have the numbers in front of me but would bet my bank account surviveabilty is higher in farrowing stalls compared to the wild. The vast majority of pig farms do a great job cleaning their farms, providing supplemental heat for baby pigs, promptly euthanizing the sick and removing the dead. I have only been on one "cockroach" farm and the infestation upset the farmers so much that they called in Terminex to get rid of them. It cost quite a bit to remove the bugs and was difficult because many insecticides are not approved for use near food sources.

It is important that farmers educate the public. This video actually shows pretty darn good conditions. Farmers started putting sows in farrowing stalls decades ago to increase piglet surviveabilty. How many piglets do you think would survive born in the wild? I do not have the numbers in front of me but would bet my bank account surviveabilty is higher in farrowing stalls compared to the wild. @21boxhead This is the last I'm going to say on the matter, any girl will eventually find out you're lying (maybe not about animals, but about something), and will break up with you. You will never have a child, because any whore you get pregnant will abort/already be on birth control, and you will never make it far enough in a real relationship to have a child, so therefore your poor genes will be eradicated from our species, and we will grow stronger because of it.
