I'll join the other commenters and say I didn't realize Lamb Chop was so old, thought she'd only been around since I was a kid (I'm 27). I enjoyed watching the show. Loved it when the puppets would bust in that little white door, tell a joke, then slam out again.

I remember they showed a clip from The Shari Lewis Show in a segment on Lamb Chop's Play-a-long where she talks to the children about something that thier parents may have watched at thier age and I saw that on the tv and though "Wow that is sooo cool! And here I thought Lamb Chop was my thing!" :D

The Shari Lewis, on Saturday mornings, was one of the greatest television visits of my childhood. Watching her again in this clip reminds me how brilliant she was. Thank goodness so much of her legacy is preserved on video.

I watched this and laughed and drifted back many years...I watched her as a kid...a little boy in a not so loving environment and I was in love with her...She was always so kind and so pretty and so very nice..., I'm 53 now and looking back as a grown man, I realize she wasn't just pretty, she was hands down drop dead gorgeous...I hope she was that way in everyday life, I would hate to ever hear anything bad about her in this age of too much, too often.
