My understanding is that since this review was filmed there have been 3 or 4 major boxee box software updates that address some of these issues and also provide Netflix and Vudu apps. Great review either way!
Awesome review! I purchased and returned a boxeebox. It is suffering from the same issues as most open source projects. If the software becomes owned by a business, the financial responsibility will ensure the software MUST work. Right now, no one is accountable so it fails. And it fails hard. I experienced too many crashes and fustrating UI to accept the Boxeebox in my life. A brand new HDMI $300 laptop with media center replaced it for my media center.
