GE overcame the lower gradient strength that resulted from widening (and effectively raising) the bore. Bottom line: Enhanced vascular imaging – even without contrast medium, which is contraindicated for some conditions or patients. For example, the high-resolution diffusion-weighted brain imaging corrects for susceptibility artifacts and eliminates those due to dental and surgical implants. You can also get a large field of view of the abdomen, resulting in much better resol. Spine-imaging ++
When giving feedback on comparing HD to 450W, why were the details about (1)scan-time, (2) noise-level ,(3) image-noise, (4) parameter on special sequences to be changed etc....were left out in discussing on an official promo-vdo like this??? I would have done a list of tech-specific items discussed on this rather than just general outline...
