When using desentizing toothpaste I'd recommend that you not brush your teeth with it. Keep using a regular toothpaste. Use a q-tip to apply the desentizing toothpaste to the specific tooth and gum area before going to bed and in the morning after using regular toothpaste. I say this because after brushing with Colgate's desentizing toothpaste for 2 weeks it has left a bad salty taste in my mouth with everything I eat and drink. I think I could have prevented this had I used the q-tip method.
