Rihanna went dance I see. It's good but what dance song isn't. It will sell, but I guess after Rated R not doing as well that's what they were looking for. This is a sure thing. My opinion, a step backwards. She should have kept pushing her edgy side instead. Her vocals sound ok but she will have trouble doing this live cause she is not a natural powerful singer and don't think she will be able to walk and sing loud and hold those notes. Not an insult but an observation.

Personally, i find rihanna unoriginal. Her experimentation with different genres isn't cool or cute it's just being a follower because there are alot of tough competitors out there eg beyonce has the voice, lady gaga has the image etc. These types of "musicians" are all about the place. They go from sweet to raunchy with their music and image eg miley, britney, christina. The only reason she has gone back to her more upbeat pop songs is because her last album R didn't do very well.
