  • Why is the alligator being dissected in such a dark room? Doesn't seem very comfortable to work there...

  • Is that an obsidian knife? I've never seen an alligator dissected so easily.

  • Does anyone know the answer? please tell us!!!

  • MAYBE THEY FORGOT TO BREATH!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Black Ops should add zombie alligators not zombie dogs (hellhounds)... ya that'd be awesome... =D

  • Black Ops should add zombie alligators not zombie dogs (hellhounds)... ya that'd be awesome... =D

  • lol they weren't dead they were sleeping

  • I saw they died because their neuron were dying out of vitamin B1

  • I WISHH I CULD DISECTA AN ALLIGATORR!! :)

  • so... their retarted?

  • There is this worm like parasite that goes into animals and takes control of them, then after they die the parasite swims away

  • Why is he doing the autopsy in the dark???

  • @BhuPui To darken the mood

  • I would say they got depressed, and couldnt cope with the recession, the gas prices, and taxes.

  • So.... what happend next?? O.o

  • @TheNailCutter they found the problem to be a vitamin B1 deficiency due to eating this one type of fish that destroys vitamin B1 if they are eaten in large quantities and thanks to human polluting the river most of the other fish died off so the alligators couldn't resupply vitamin B1

  • IT WAS ALIENS

  • CALL STEVE IRWIN! oh wait, this is an alligator.. were all fcked

  • @Patypatpat99 that mistake was on purpose, but i think you missed the biggest problem of the whole comment

  • The cause is the overpopulation of the swamp with a fish called "gizzard shad", this became the primary food for the alligators, this fish contains an enzyme that is called "Thiaminase" this enzyme destroys thiamine Or also know as B1, lack of B1 drivers to neurons death due to insufficient nutrition. So over time the brain activity stops till it gets to the zombie state.

  • alligator found drugs lmao!

  • suicide. ide be pretty depressed if i lived in a shit hole swamp my whole life

  • its a retarded alligator thats all

  • Maybe he can't see what's wrong because the oddtopsy exam room is dark as shit!!!

  • @MultonProductions me three lol

  • my diagnosis?

  • It's obvious they have just been spending far too much time at the alligator's pub down on the corner;

    *Showed poor equilibrium

    *Drowning

*Lie down as if they are dead.

*Hard time riding themself in the water

*They listed to one side or the other

*Look like they were drugged almost

Sounds like a bunch of drunks to me.

  • 3:50 he's ready to tuck in :)

  • Narrator's voice just makes me sleepy.

  • give em some redbull!

  • Am I the only one that would use toyota technology for evil

  • So what do you do for a living?

    I hunt Zombie-Alligators..

  • zombie alligators= zombie boots

  • ZOMBIE ALLIGATOR. THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL.

  • Maybe its caused by inbreeding?

  • Misleading title!

  • That would be cool to have a zomie alligator as a pet cuz then it's not gamma bite :) ( hopefully)

  • I was hoping they would explain why they are zombie alligators! Weres the rest of the documentary!? Did they find out what was causing it!? U cant just leave it on a cliffhanger like that!!

  • @deathwings11 I just watched this on NatGeo Wild. This condition is caused by a lack of thiamine in their diet. The lake is so polluted that the only fish that can thrive in the lake are Shad. These fish produce enzymes that when eaten by the alligators it breaks down the thiamine in the alligators system. Without thiamine, the alligators become lethargic and suffer from a lack of oxygen to their bloodstream. Recently the lake has been harvested of Shad and now the gators are recovering.

  • @BudzMcgr33n Ah excellent, thanks very very much for takin the time to explain that too us! :) That was very strange that it was happening, especially to those living dinosaurs that hav made it this far. It wud be a shame if they died out. Although maybe thats presumptious of me as they probly wud of adapted, lol.

  • black ops zombie (alligator vision)

  • did they check the brain -.-

  • time. to. call. THE ALLIGATOR WHISPER

  • that cute... :D

  • 30 people are zombie alligators

  • they should make this a new video game

  • Interior Crocodile alligator i drive a Chevrolet movie theater!

  • Think about you can ride on it's back because it's unable to move!! (FUN)

  • Maybe the alligators are old? Never mentioned..

  • Yeah, dissection, thats what you're doing with freakin hedge trimmers

  • Check for parasites in the brain.., and elsewhere...

  • As vicious and ugly as alligators are im glad they found out what happened to them, the world wouldnt be the same without them. Sharks also carry the same stigma as alligators....killing machines. I wonder what they would think about us humans? We are probably the worst things that ever walked the face of the earth. : (

  • @kingSpork1 So what was the issue with the alligators?

  • it was probably because it was sick or ready to die

  • cant you see!! its depressed!! Take It To Therapy!!!

  • damn you super cool title >=(

  • i smell a new play station game

  • I think they heard the song: interior crocodile alligator I drive a chandelier movie theater interior crocodile alligator I drive a chandelier movie theater Boom Boom!!

  • 3:50 - creepy dinner.

  • Zombie gator? Those alligators are as high as shit! Run some drug tests, you'll find something...

But on a serious note: check the brain, bones, etc. Maybe the change in environment is the cause of death?

  • i smell a good playstation game

  • @tragold ROFLMAOLOLLOL

  • maybe there is a new fish in the water who contains poison and the aligator eat it and get heavy nerve damage

  • myxomatosis has jumped from rabbits to gators!!!!!

  • level 74 undead beast

  • Wow... I’d say the name was misleading but that would be the understatement of the century...

  • intiror crocadile aligator i drive a chevorlett movie theatre

  • maybe someone gave those alligators like a pound of shrooms and made the alligator realize that he was an alligator =/

  • They were eating some sort of fish that made them have a Vitamin B deficiency, causing their brain cells to die off. Fish were removed, problem was solved.

  • It's probably just a Neural virus or fungus that's fucking them up. Just rip the brain open and have a look see...

  • ya gona eat that?

  • i know what it is: the prey got smart and started using HAAAAAAXXX

  • they didnt check the brain..?

  • amphibias? its a FUCKING REPTILE!!!

  • @RedRex300

    Amphibious is also an adjective.

    herp derp

  • @RedRex300 Amphibious means "water and land dwelling". Amphibians are a specific groups of animals that live in both water and land.

  • @RedRex300 amphibious means it can live on land and water

  • look! the animals r becoming like ppl - 2 lazy 2 do shit.....

  • @Krystaelll shit, agreed

  • :L they are comitting suicide they cbf with earth they have been on it for too long

  • Found this: The conclusion: Pesticide runoff had killed off the biodiversity of the lake, creating a lake that overly nutrient rich. This rich environment enabled a fish called the Gizzard Shad to overpopulate the lake. The Shad, which became the zombie gators primary food source, produce a chemical which inhibits the absorption of thiamine. And thus, the zombie gators.

  • hey. why waste all ur time cutting it up yourslef. just call a gardner. hes got the same tools as you.

  • a team? 2:14 all i see is one guy cutting open an alligator!

  • theres no zombie alligeter because alligater eat meat !

  • They are just emo aliigators......

  • being a doctor i speculate that it might have to do with drop in temprature as the cant bask in sun or get as much sunlight or the temp of water is cooler, even a couple of degress is a substantial change for reptile My secound guess is neurogical problem,or might have to do with less pray in lakes!lol

  • It was actually a lack of vitamines to their brains.

  • Make a belt and a wallet for me while you guys are in he poor thing.

  • ill make you a belt and later beat you with it

  • Perhaps it's there brain, maybe they might have a mental issue going on. To where they can't function right.

It would be easier to remove the reptiles brain, to find out if it's a mental issue that's causing them to not function correctly.

  • if you remove its brain, that isnt going to help you find a mental issue, it will make it die even faster
