@GabrielleSuperiour It's apples and oranges really, isn't it? Burrowes indisputably had a better, longer, more intense musical training than the Libera boys get, and his technique is far better than theirs in my opinion. But he sings a very different kind of music. Libera are about performance, drama, a new spin on old material, a unique style. Burrowes is a traditional English chorister singing stuff from the 17th century.
Glorious indeed! The whole CD is wonderful, but I have long thought his performance of this piece the greatest I have ever heard from an English treble. His tone is ideally matched to the music and his musicianship and expression are quite magical. Breath control is impeccable and his ability to move from a strongly sustained legato to a delicate, dancing sprightliness at will is stunning. If you don't have this CD, do go find!
Connor had a most remarkable voice, especially in contrast to so many trebles: unusually strong, focused, with greater tone. His recordings make one wish that, somehow magically, he could have sung soprano several years longer. I look forward to additional Connor videos.
Connor Burrowes is my favorite treble voice, hands down. His voice is so strong and controlled.

This kid's voice beat Anthony Way's, and any of the kids from Libera as far as I'm concerned!

Bold what's you say, but I think agree with you. He has a technical training with his voice, representative for me for soloist/boy choir in england.

Okay, I agree with what you said about Anthony Way but Libera IS SO MUCH BETTER THEN THIS!!!
Don't get me wrong, I LIKE Conor Burrowes, but I don't think he's "The Best boy treble ever" that's just a load of rubbish.
