  • Enjoy your videos! Here in my area of NY, we see a decent amount of Copperheads, Rattlers, and Cottonmouth. Had a baby Copperhead in my yard last year as I was mowing the lawn...Neat little snake. I put the little fella' back in the woods, so nobody would harm it. (I used a very large stick) Man, he was a twitchy little guy! hehe

  • I live at the northernmost location of the copperhead in New York state. They are not commonly found around here but are only in isolated densites near specific very rocky areas where they can congregate in numbers to hibernate below the frost.
