Dr. Lerner proposes a very validated point in regards to developing adolescents. However, I find his theory to be overly stressed on the false perception of parents rewarding their children due to an absence of bad characteristics. Typically, this is where critiquing the parent should come into play. All developing adolescents certainly consume great strengths as human beings, however, any intellectual parent should know that they shouldn't consider their child good because they don't do drugs..
