it's heroic in a way. it tugs at the heart. but it is repetitive.

yea it is. i think like a lot of things anime has lost it's way. they are to concerned with trivial things as opposed to having complex story lines and real life situations. it's a goddamn shame when garbage like the simpsons can run for 20 years here in america and the best anime in the world barely gets noticed, if at all. it says more about us than the anime i'm afraid.
