i played this for my freshmen year in highscool last year ^__^ it was the shit....we went to regionals and got a superior rating for the preformancce of the songs
I am on my dads account to so i am not really 38 but anyway, I play the oboe too for my 7th grade band (with some 8th graders) but i didn't get the solo because i have this like oboe protegee in my class so i am always 2nd chair! but i have learned to live with it
Ok that song is really good i can tell. We are playing it right now also. the thing is the Tuba you have would sound better if he actually used one. other than that its good
wow yall sound a lot better then our band! well getr there we still have time to work on this. I play euphonium but I cant get all the rythems down :( I am working hard on it though. This is really good! I hope we can be as good as yall so we get a 1 at contest.
My HS 9th Grade band is playing this... I play Euphonium in the Symphonic Band but i take independent music study in the 9th grade band and i play french horn. I ♥ the horn part
Our seventh/eighth grade band is playing this. I love the french horn part, and the piccolo. Though, I don't play the Piccolo. I play the french horn.
We are playing this in my band for the chinook festival. It is actually a little hard! Our band consits of 25 people. Most of the band is flutes. Last year we only had 16 people in our band and went to the cantando festival in edmonton and we got a superior!!!
thats pretty impressive but it helps being dominated with flutes...u would love to have the perfect instrumentation for balance....but in concert band if there are two instruments u wouldnt mind being dominant in its flute and clarinet....they have all the important part alot of the time
it does not help, to much flute sound is not good. no offense to flutes, but low brass is extremely improtant to having a good band. Who else would you balance to (besides a bass flute
u got a point with the low brass...but they dont have the moving lines alot of the times except the baritones sometimes,,,,but yea low brass is impoortant as well dont get me wrong
yeah, i agree, the balance was a little off, it could've used a little more brass
