  • Very impressive... I work with robotics and automation... Obviously using vision with spacial orientation also... Great example as to what robotics can do.

  • its called innovation and automation. Its what keeps up competitive with the world. It keeps costs down for companies and consumers. It is the future and its been happening for decades. Get used to it.

  • @srgriffith True, however, when there is a hugely lopsided tendency for the fruits of automated labour to go to people that are already rich and for rich people to be the only ones that are able to afford to get their offspring a decent education how are the lower classes going to get a look in? It doesn't help either that the wealthy tend to oppose any sort of taxation that can be used to improve education for the masses and zealous religious people often have an issue with science in schools.

    I think those arms can "see" if someone or something( just like it "sees" the cookies :P ), which will cause the robot to stop.
