Why the hell do white car move to the left lane and block the truck's way? Think truck gonna hit the people? look! truck was only about 10-15 feet away from people, it is white car driver's fault!
If you watch the video closely, you'll notice that the white car moved from the right side of the road to the left, then just before the crash, the car STOPPED. If the truck was going only 10 MPH and the white car pulled in front of it and stopped like it did, there would of still been a crash.So who was at faught? Not the truck for sure...

Yes, the driver of the car was an idiot, but the trucker had plenty of time to see that the cars were driving very slowly; the responsible thing to do would have been to reduce his own speed until he passed them. It's not a debatable issue. A vehicle pulled in front of the truck, and that caused the collision. But people walking on the side of the road and cars doing three miles an hour on a public road caused it.

The trucker fucked up. He's supposed to be a professional and he should have had his eyes open way back at the top of that hill, gauging the roadway ahead. Knowing he's bigger and and heavier and needing more room to maneuver and stop, he should be driving accordingly. He was coming WAY too fast down that hill. If his brakes were bad, he should have serviced them beforehand, they just don't "go" without cause.
How do I know? From 35 years on the road, professionally, that's how.

@masspo123 Maybe not, but then again if he wasnt doing 65-70mph when comming up on a group of cars and people that were doing maybe 5mph, then he wouldve had time since he had a good 200-250ft of space between him and the car when the car pulled out. When the car pulled out im guessing the driver did see the truck but figured he wasnt going as fast as he was, because that'd just be stupid.

Any time you rear-end someone, you're responsible, regardless of what they were doing. Yes, the driver of the car was an idiot, but the trucker had plenty of time to see that the cars were driving very slowly; the responsible thing to do would have been to reduce his own speed until he passed them. If he hadn't been driving so fast, he would have had time to stop.

I am not 100% sure on the highway code of wherever this is but the fact still remains that truck was going too fast considering there was obviously slow traffic. There was no need for him to tear passed at such a speed.
So the truck driver did not anticipate anything...

Did you see a speed limit sign on the road? Then why do you assume it was going too fast? There are laws against going too slow on a public road as well. You can say the truck driver should have slowed down just as easily as I can say the cars should have been going faster.
Do 25mph on a highway and don't pay attention to what is behind you as you shift lanes. See what happens. Will the car that hits you be to blame?

My point about him going too fast was with relation to the fact he can obviously see there is something up ahead to simply slow a bit more would have probably made no real difference, the woman would have still pulled him front and an accident would still occur however its basic road safety!

What part of the car pulled out in front of the truck is too complicated for you? You can give a billion 'what if' examples and it still won't change the fact that the driver of the car wasn't paying attention, came into the trucks path, and the truck had nowhere to go.

If you actually trace back a small step you will see that i mention i wouldnt blame the truck wholly.... however the truck could have "anticipated" (anyone who drives is well aware of this Golden rule) that with slow traffic and a wedding chances are people wouldnt be paying attention...

Could have, would have, should have will not change the facts. A lot of factors *could* have prevented the accident. But the car driver not paying attention and coming into the path of the truck caused the accident.

The trucker fucked up. He's supposed to be a professional and he should have had his eyes open way back at the top of that hill, gauging the roadway ahead. Knowing he's bigger and and heavier and needing more room to maneuver and stop, he should be driving accordingly. He was coming WAY too fast down that hill. If his brakes were bad, he should have serviced them beforehand, they just don't "go" without cause.
How do I know? From 35 years on the road, professionally, that's how.

@IITwistedII the reason it survived was the fact that it was a russian Lada Riva 1600i made before the fall of the soviet union, they were extremly well made and had to be because almost everyone was poor and reliability was f upmost importance. so making a rugged car that would last garunteed it to sell in large numbers. I personally sold my 2006 subaru for one of those.

As for the truck - it's weight capacity and momentum prevented him from immediate emergency brake. Besides, the road is hilly. He had to increase his speed to climb the hill.
He's just unfortunate to be among those dumbs who thinks that just because somebody is getting married - the whole road was theirs.
Why nobody noticed the truck remains a mystery.
Whatever the occasion - road is a dangerous place. My advice: safety first.
