  • The 5 dislikes must be army types - Go NAVY, Seabees CAN DO

  • My dad Retired E-8 John Kelly. He did make it to Master Chief. In his time in the Seabees he accomplished many first. He also taught in gulfport. He was the youngest Chief when he made Chief

  • In tribute to my deceased father, Manuel F. Rosa, Petty Officer 1C, USN Seabee, Saipan WWII fro Peter J. Rosa, Senior Master Sergeant, USAF Retired If you would like photos of Saipan, my Dad and fellow Seabees and Marines, contact me at rosapj@AOL.com

  • The is a wonderful tribute! THANK YOU My Dad was one of the first Seabees. He was recognized for restoring Japanese Jacinto Shrine statues of JESUS on his own time after the invasion of SAIPAN. To this day, I am proud of my dad, all Seabees and all military members and families.

  • My dad was a US Navy Seabee on Guam. It is because of his stories, which he shared many times as he grew older, that I gained RESPECT for the armed services. He passed away last January (2011). He was almost 81. I miss him.

  • Thank you.

  • my great grand father was a sea bee in world war 2, NCB 302....... he had 2 purple hearts, after the second one it was bad enough for them to send him home.....There is an account that him and his men where under heavy fire from a jap machine gun and he drove a bull dozer and killed them, i wish i could of met him, he died in the 60's.....

  • my gradpa was a sea bee he has gone on to heaven now i miss him but he did his job proudly navy sea bee CAN DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • From 3:36 to 3:43, those are shots from NTA in Okinawa. Been several, several, several years but I'd recognize that training evolution anywhere. The Marines who ran it told us that NTA was some of the hardest training that conventional troops (those outside of Spec. War) could ever experience - and they were right. Loved the vid, Seabee 'till I die, and my years as a BU with NMCB-74 have landed me a job working in State Government, and have afforded me a great life. CAN DO.

  • after watching this video it makes me proud to be a future seabee! i ship off on aug. 15th as a SW. im a women and when i first heard of what i was going to do i freaked because i didnt think that being a part of the seabees was a big thing but now i watch this video and i was so wrong! seabees do so much more then just build. i see we get to changes lifes and make a difference. im so proud to be serving my country as an SW! i ready to go and show the world what a women in the seabees can do!

  • i was oth discharged but i miss miss it so much sometimes, seabees are the salt of the earth, were not soldiers were men and women who love our nation and want to save the world one brick engine wire and pipe at a time with a wrench hammer and tommy gun oohrah my fellow sailors, if not for us our country would not be the best in the world

  • my grandfather was a seebee @ iwo jima the toughest man i have ever met.

  • Im going into the Seabees as Cm and this video makes me that much more proud to be doing what i am about to do.

  • @ShaggySunshine Same here, I Just swore in Yesterday to be CM I ship out on Feb 7Th Awsome vid!!

  • 2:50 my first deployment 2004 HOORAH!!!!!

  • Awesome video. You displayed us well. Brings back alot of memories. Thank you, from an older Seabee vet (BU CB-74). By the way, that looks like NTA from 3:38 to 3:42. Maybe not, but I'm pretty sure that mud looks pretty darn familiar, as does that wall. Don't think I'd forget them any time soon - and it's been several years since. LOL.

  • i love my seabee :D

  • I also was on The Rock at the same time you were NMCB 74 Alpha CMCN Keith Millett, I have been in contact with a large number of the guys that were there at the same time. Please feel free to contact me at keithmillett@kcmtruck.com if you would like.

  • EO for 2 years in a nmcb. lot of bull shit to put up with but would do any other rate! alpha is where its at!

  • Seabee of almost 2 years. This movie was bad-ass

    HOORAH!!

  • what is being a Seabee like? I'm only 14 so I have time to think but I want to be a Seabee because I enjoy hard work and want to fight for America. From all the comments I have read, people who are Seabees love their job. Where would I have to go for basic though? I live in New Orleans so could I go just to Gulfport or would I have to go to other places as well. also, do you have to be good at math? I suck at math. Please answer if you can. Thanks!

  • @tigerfanfanatic72 When you are old enough, talk to a recruiter. Don't fall for the "There is no room" BS, they will find a way for you to get the rate (job) that you want. If you are serious about joining and being a Seabee do research and find out what rate you would enjoy. Boot camp will be at Great Lakes, IL and your "A" (primary) school will depend on what rate you chose. Hope you enjoyed the video. P.S. keep working on your math, all Seabee rates use it.

  • Nation Builders

  • As a soon to be SeaBee, I can say thank you for posting this video. It makes me so proud to be joining the ranks of these great men and women. I ship off to basic March 14.

  • HOORAH!!! EO going on 10 years now. Alfa Dawgs baby.

  • @NativeWarrior1492 fuck to the yeah. no one rolls without alpha. EOs primary job, to fuck shit up and im damn good at my job ;)

  • I'm planning on getting in contact with a recruiter here soon. I'm hoping to become an EO. Just kinda sucks, my dad has been a Seabee for the past 26 years. And he is an EO. Everyone knows him, and he's supposedly an outstanding operator. A lot of people hate him too. Regardless of what people think, I'm not trying to follow in his footsteps. I am interested in this field and want to learn how to operate equipment. Period.

  • my grandpa was a Seabee in WW2. he was on the pacific front. he was at pearl harbor just two weeks before it was attacked. he very rarely talks about the war, but i do know that much.

  • I was a Navy Seabee for 4 years. I served during the time when our country was divided over the Vietnam war and wearing a uniform in public wasn't always the wisest thing to do.
