Trust me, it's in 5/4, counting it is a little strange, but it's definitely in 5/4, and 9/8 and 5/4 have no correlation in sound. When you play it on drums you can really feel where each measure starts, if you keep trying, you'll be able to count it in 5/4 easy.

I'm so glad this band found the perfect mesh of members that compliment eachother's inputs to make an awesome song, it's like a positive snowball effect. I get into the rhythm with phil and colin, get excited at a buildup with ed, then explode at jonny's awesome part, and throughout thom sorta guides it in and out of these angelic and sharp states of the song while giving a sweet/eerie voice.
