Thanks for posting. This is one of the most memorable scenes from this movie. Brilliant acting! I forgot a whole bunch of scenes, but this one made me laugh so hard I could never forget. Altough, I had forgotten about the precious cough moment. His 'nerd' reach the nerdiest possible pronunciation, which is 'nierrrd'. hahaha.

@CJAnonymous Agreed. Also, fwiw, there's a couple of scenes in the film where the two are actually together--Pekar and the actor portraying him, Giamatti. Since I saw it only once when it was originally released, I can't remember how it played out; but I do seem to remember feeling it was kind of slick.

I think Judah Friedlander does Toby Radloff better than Toby Radloff does Toby Radloff. "American Splendor" was a great film, and I was glad to be part of its success. I still miss Harvey Pekar.
