  • IT´S MY FAVORITE SCENE, when he said "REVENGE OF THE NERDS"

  • I dunno, man...

  • I laughed so hard at 2:02 when he chokes on the fries!

  • now this movie is real art

  • Great scene from a brilliant movie.

  • "What kinda girl is your nyew bride? Is she a nyerd?"

  • Man, for a guy that was down all the time and feeling his life was sort of empty, he's sure had a lot of interesting things happen to him. He got his shit drawn by Crumb fer chris'sakes

  • I just noticed that he ganked his fries.

  • @justinvestal26 lol It was pretty smooth.

  • @justinvestal26 I love when Harvey's making his quick getaway and Toby calls after him, like he's semi-expecting to be called out on taking his fries. Ahaha

  • is she a nerd i dunno maybe yeah. lmfao

  • Wow, hard to believe Harvey died, great story-teller

  • What kind of geeerl is new bride? Is she a nieeeerd?

  • LOVE this movie!!!

  • " A very cool and unique scene from a helluva good movie. the way "the pina colada song" blends in with the humor and the brilliant acting here is pure magnificence. Whoever the one person was that didn't like this should play a jock in the next" revenge of the nerds" movie.

  • Thanks for uploading this dude! Great movie. Just saw it for the first time a couple nights ago. I like Judah Friedlander showing off his acting chops, wish he'd get more roles to do so...and Paul Giamatti is always gold.

  • @BizzyD4189 glad you like it!

  • God bless you harvey, thanks for the memories, man.

  • 'It's thay NEW FILLM CALLED REVENJUE OF THE NIIIERDS.'

    :'D

I feel so much better now.

  • Thanks for posting. This is one of the most memorable scenes from this movie. Brilliant acting! I forgot a whole bunch of scenes, but this one made me laugh so hard I could never forget. Altough, I had forgotten about the precious cough moment. His 'nerd' reach the nerdiest possible pronunciation, which is 'nierrrd'. hahaha.

  • The Genuine Nerd©

  • i loved the scenes where they had the actors sitting behind harvey and tobey, and listening to their conversations.this was a fantastic movie, thanks for the memories harvey,r.i.p.

  • i am a nyrd and us nyrds have to stick together

  • One of my favorite movies.

  • totally stole his fries!

  • Goodbye Harvey.

  • Weird to watch this then 30 Rock. Friedlander's range was larger than I thought.

  • i need to see this movie again... its really funny hahahah

    RIP Harvey!

  • He looks and talks EXACTLY like the real thing. See some of the related videos.

  • @CJAnonymous Agreed. Also, fwiw, there's a couple of scenes in the film where the two are actually together--Pekar and the actor portraying him, Giamatti. Since I saw it only once when it was originally released, I can't remember how it played out; but I do seem to remember feeling it was kind of slick.

  • @UberSecret: I was actually talking about Toby (it was in response to another comment), but that applies to Giamatti/Pekar, too.

  • @UberSecret I think them seems of Giamatti & Pekar make this film what it is... a masterpiece of cinema & story telling.

  • A much misunderstood genius. He will be missed :(

  • RIP Harvey Pekar !!

  • i am glad you guys are commenting. RIP HARVEY!

  • @IeatyellowSNO Surely! kinda saw this film outta nowhere and i ended up relating with everyone in it big time.

  • Ordinary life can be pretty complicated stuff

  • RIP Harvey. Love your work.

  • Only the second one to say RIP? How unfortunate .. I am sure more will folow!

  • RIP Harvey

  • Toby was on Howard Stern like 2 years ago competing to be in the wack pack....i still can't stop laughing whenever i think of it.

  • That dude from 30 Rock is so great in this part...

  • interesting and likeable...if you like this kind of movie you can watch it at

    EasyMediaClick (dot) com

  • Why wouldn't they be playing ROTN in Cleveland? It's a lot bigger than Toledo...

  • When there's the scene that has the actual Harvey and Toby talking, I was surprising that the actual Toby still talks like this.

  • Love the very last scene... The wife as monster! Haw!

  • Best part of the movie, has me in stitches every time I see it.

  • lol, i'm both an american splendor and 30 rock fan, but seeing american splendor first (and judahs looks is quite different :D) i never realized judah friedlander was in both. awesome guy.

  • i wish i could have toby on my sat-nav.

  • I consider my self a nerd and this movie has up lifted me.

Love how Toby talks. Every word is a discrete entity.

  • @chantoke

The real life Toby talks that way too!

  • Love this!! Doesnt the fat comic book guy from the simpsons sound like toby?

  • thanks for this, man!

  • "I don't know man!, she is into herbal tea!" ha ha great line! thanks for sharing!

  • hahahaha, i consider myself a "nuurd" too...

  • 2:03 is brilliant!

  • I Know! It looks to me like he was really choking, but it's good they kept it in!

  • Judah rules!

  • Great Movie!! And one of my favorite scenes!! Thanks for posting!!

  • seriously, he is hilarious and awesome.

  • Hahaha i fucking love the way Toby talks man!

  • @joseperla15

I think Judah Friedlander does Toby Radloff better than Toby Radloff does Toby Radloff. "American Splendor" was a great film, and I was glad to be part of its success. I still miss Harvey Pekar.
