@newyork51824 I'm guessing you've ran Redsn0w on a 4.2.1(Firmware) device untethered. Go back into Redsn0w, go on until you have options on what to install, pick "Run tethered" then finish the installation. You'll have to do Redsn0w EVERYTIME you REBOOT your Ipod Touch.
