Losing family members, moving cities, meeting wonderful lovers in my life... Im in my 70s now and I look back at the smiles, laughter, tragedies and despair - I listen to this soundtrack and I feel beautiful.... everything in life has been a journey, and I'm thankful for every moment.
I've always thought that this soundtrack was meant for my life. I know that sounds stupid but I saw this movie when I was little and have always loved it. The music is so hauntingly beautiful and sad at the same time. It makes me think of my journey through high school, romances, family and relationships lost. So extraordinary.
@SurferShan It doesn't sound stupid at all. I'm much older than you are, but I can tell you I had this very same thought with regard to (other) music heard early in my own life.
I Iike the idea that we might both be right. Moreover, I'm convinced we both ARE right.
Mine is intended for me, and yours for you.
So let both of of us make the best of what was given us!
