  • I want this :3

  • this would be a great hair style for my wedding thanks all the others i have seen just show pics lol :)

  • wow, thanks for the reply. im psyched to do this. ive always wanted them. question? how long does your hair have to be before you can braid it?

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS. IM GOING TO GROW MY HAIR A BIT LONGER TO DO THIS BECAUSE I LOVE THE WAY IT LOOKS. WHEN IM DONE ILL SEND YOU A BEFORE AND AFTER VIDEO. THABK YOU AGAIN, SCOTT

  • @assmanhall You're welcome! Looking forward to your video

  • your so cute! :D

  • Can you do twist briads on a white persons hair????????

  • @lilv1987 Twists are a bit more complicated since there's less tension to hold the hair in place, but it can be done. You'd have to use rubber bands at the end to make sure they don't come undone.

  • the person braiding the hair is racist

  • I don't believe its easier on Type 1 and 2 hair because the hair is sooo silky and the strands fall out of form which is annoying. Now I'm not offended by the White person's hair title but some Afri. Ameri. descent people have hair just like that and vice versa so the appropriate addressing of the hair should be by type not ethnic group.

  • its so hard to braid caucasian but u make it look so easy

  • @makeupforever8 im caucassian and i want to try it thats very hard for my silky hair

  • it's actually easier to do it on white people and it looks better!

  • @PoloTechnoKid I have to disagree with you on that one

  • it would help if we could hear what the woman was saying

  • No matter what other people are saying, I personally think the model is beautiful!

  • how come i only hear music??

  • @princess80886 I had to audioswap, but now you can read the text which will give you a better explanation

  • Before - ugly.

    After - uglier. lol

  • @TheLagunaSunrise Okay, you can shut the fuck up now.

  • @123Pepsigurl Was I still talking? Apologies.

  • A white person (wigger) with braids... ridiculous.

  • I can almost guarantee that if the title was "how to braid black people's hair" black people would be up in arms and the white rascists would spawn even more rascism than usual...smh...not a good title for the video

  • @DaCatOnTop shutup.

  • cool..how do I braid a yellow person's hair? ahahahah joke*

  • your lips are yummy

  • i just came here to lol and comment on me loling at the title.

  • i got to know what the song was that wasnt approved lol it struck me curious

  • the title shouldve been "how to braid straight hair".

  • THIS TITLE MADE ME "LOL" SOOO HARD I HAD TO WATCH!

  • How long does a white persons hair need to be to be braided into cornrows?

  • @PunkMetalCyberGoth14 just long enough to be able to hold a braid

  • why didnt u jsut braid straight back? so weird the way u did it

  • Her hair is so limp and slippery! I prefer my own.

  • @ubiquitousfacts limp and slippery............haha that is so dumb

  • @24morningstar

Not really, I just prefer super curly hair. Straight hair would look weird on me.

  • Nice vid. It looks like it was really thorough but couldn't you just take off the "corny" music so we can all hear what you are saying... I'm sure it is of value :)

  • @frabjuousmonkey She can't.... READ.

  • I LOL'D SO HARD WHEN I SAW THE TITLE

  • So cornrows are like a bajillion tiny French braids!?!?!?

  • Black people better start patenting their ideas because if you don't, whites will come here and claim it as their own, like they've done with everything else Blacks have contributed and invented.

  • what let me guess now all the white people will come to this video and then try to make this "their invention".

  • omg ppl are acting so stupid its not racist because it whats she doing and pluss she said people where wondering if it could be done on tht type of hair if she was so racst would she want to do the persons hair gosh

  • That style look cute on her

  • I hate when some one points out an ethnicity group and some little bitch goes "racist". I

  • @herroIMlilo Yup. Just because someone says black, white, asian, Latino, etc, doesn't mean they're saying something bad about them xD

  • I know it's possible I braid my hair and my bff's

  • yay! i love koreans!

  • Yoour really gudd at cornrowing ! im learning too , juust a begginer

  • that song omg.. lol and yah maybe caucasion sounds a bit better but nice job! :)

  • a white persons hair? rasic verry verry racist

  • YO LADY!! STOP TALKING, WE CANT HEAR U!!!! shut the song up!!! geeez!! is that so hard to ask?!!! whats the point of calling it a tutorial!!??

  • @Thechachafriends Dumbass she said it at the beginning of the video that you wouldn't be able to hear her

  • fuck utube

  • long time im wishing to know how to do this hair style,my friends keep asking me to do it for them esp.blacks but i cant coz i dont know how to but now i know how so thanks for this tutorial...keep it up

  • @Runescapez0r3r lmfao the hairtypes are different? No racism.........dont judge so quickly hun.

  • @Runescapez0r3r because thats what she's doing! It's not racist it's accurate dumba$s

  • Does that kind of hair do make you look older.

  • So much talk about hair textures here :). The truth is people of caucasian decent can have anything from superfine, soft straight her to really thick afro hair. The latter is rare, but I have seen it. More common is very curly hair (e. g. Irish, Italian, Spanish decent). A good braided can master any hair texture. Personally I find the very straight, thick asian hair the most difficult hair to braid - the ends just do not want to stay in the braids. Extensions help with very fine hair.

  • @xoxmickeyxox100 it's preeeetty obvious that @brothamandap is black.... just sayin...

  • for things u need u forgot to put 1. white person :) glad to help

  • Really.

Thank you for providing a video which allows users to learn a new skill. This video has been extremely helpful.

    Thank you msbrice.

  • @karleiaustin thanks for watching.

  • LOL i think youtube should take this vid of a) i find the title offencive they could of wrote with different hair texture and b) too much racism in comments

  • thats not nice what you guys are saying about what people look like and their color . YOU PEOPLE SHOULD GET OFF THE COMPUTER IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM! GO OUTSIDE AND LEAVE PEOPLE BECAUSE THEIR DIFFERENT!!!!!!!!

  • i canrt see what your doing

  • And when you get done braiding their hair, wash their clothes and pick their cotton. And let massa fuck you when the missus aint around. Honkies suck.

  • @brothamandap fuck you

  • @brothamandap Fuckk u Stupid Whitee Ass MoFuckker

  • this has nothing to do with race...al black shave kinky hair so thats a given...but whites can have a varitey of hair color and texture....im white (italian...u might no consider italans white but..) my hair is kinky as hell and it canbe braided and get waves

  • i use to braid my friend's hair all the time it's easy if you know how to braid really good i even do extentions on their hair!

  • I got so close when i tried it on myself but i can probably do it if i use a mirror :/ lol

  • when i got corn rows my head sunburned -__- it was kinda funny. i has red stipes in between blond hair

WHERE SUNSCREEN if ur white and u get corn rows

  • @BizarreKidAndFriends lmao thts pretty funny no offense tho :)

  • @MsEminem2121 none taken :)

  • Im white, and i get cornrows and twisties done all the time..it is nit just for colored people! its a cute hairstyle, keeps my hair back and i look good with it, some white pple cant pull it off some can...i know this woman wasnt tryna be racist but i do get that the title does sound kinda offensive..:white people" if we said anything like that about other races weds never hear the end of it, we are all the same, no one needs to call us white people, we are all humans!

  • @ultralove1 IT CAUSE OF DIFFERENT HAIR TEXTURE thumbs this up every one if you want the people who don't know to know!

  • You have to be seriously retarded if you don't realize the diffrences in caucasion hair and african hair. Like seriously. Being white, and having done braids on white, black, and everywhere in between; ITS DIFFRENT!!! Sure, technique is quite similar, but the hair parts diffrent, acts diffrent, requires diffrent products, etc. She's not a racist, your just a moron.

  • very good tutorial and the idea of the gell.

I tried to do it with my boyfriends hair but i kept putting hairs in the braid that weren't supposed to be in it haha.

  • why the hell is that song playin

  • Ya like I can hear u ...

  • @thesabrinapierce the discription has your anwser ;)

  • how long does it take to cornrow someones hair

  • braiding a white persons hair is like playing badminton with a tennis ball or tennis with a shuttlecock

  • your hands where in the way at the beginning when you first started the first braid so i couldnt see how you started the braid...

  • Over-sensitive much?

  • I have long curly type 3 hair, and am going on a trek for 5 weeks, and was thinking about doing this to my hair so I don't have to worry about styling my hair. How long will cornrows keep looking nice? Will they come out? Will they affect my curls after I take them out? Will I lose any curl? Is it damaging to the hair shaft? Thanks for the video :)

  • you forgot i.e egyptian, morrccan, north african

  • @kevin084life im pretty sure evryone gets the point

  • @topbluffa1 lol i gotta admit i didnt understand what you just said.

  • It's a little tricky sometimes to braid hair that is very silky and not course in texture.

  • @Girdz17 basically everything. its not being racist. Hair is different depeneding on whether your black or white. Black hair is a lot more skill to do than white hair. Chris Rock did an entire show about black people hair just to show how much work is put into it when they style it. look it up.

  • @armadillosrockyo

you mean like wearing a wig of white womens hair?

  • I found the title amusing. x)

  • I cannot believe so much retards cared about the hair and not the title "How to Braid a White Person's Hair"WHITE PERSON'S....Take out the white and change person to anyone's Lmfao.....

  • Im black but...HOW does being white have to do with your hair?

  • @IDemonicbiowave Because Black's and White's have different textured hair. DUHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -____-

  • ................THERES NO OTHER WAY TO BRAID HAIR BY RACE,YOU CAN STILL BRAID IT THE SAME WAY U NORMALLY DO..

  • @IDemonicbiowave Whoa, I am not blind, lol. Their is a certain way you do it to make it stay for White people,

  • @IDemonicbiowave the hair textures are different thats the thing. no prob. =)

  • how long would my hair have to be(minimum)?

  • HOW TO DO THEM ON WHITE PEOPLE

YOU MAM ARE A FUCKING RACIST

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BLACK HAIR AND WHITE HAIR

  • @Girdz17 uh...a lot. texture, how you treat it, ect.

  • damn hunny, that looks as if it's gonna take for ever to do the to my up-to -hip long hair :/

    cool :)

  • I agree 100% Wit this vid. F**k color skin tone and wat those racist idiots out there say bout you! We all equal as ppl! Its all wats in the inside and wat we got soul for! We show our own style for wat we luv to do.

  • oh shnaps.! she worked her hair out.!

  • I'm so glad I could hear everything you were saying -_-

  • Good Job. The only thing I would have done different is

used the same color rubberbands as her hair.

  • omg her hair was sooooooooooooooooo cute..i love that style on her:)

  • can you ask them what songs you can put in your videos and post it again?

  • Good video! :D

and.. what's the name of the song there is playing?? i really love it! *-*

    xD

  • @CrasyGirL100

    Hey There Delilah-Plain White T's [:

  • @xMissxLovettex

    thaanx! :DD

  • Them devils claim they hate us but want to EVERYTHING we do...Sista you got a lot of heart to run your fingers through that mess!

  • hair will forever be hair.and every one has the right to express them selves with which ever style they want.

  • please tell me you were smelling the gel or something and not tasting it..

  • you are a bitch you are so rude you need to stop beeing a hater

  • excuse me but where do u live just to ask

  • @jacksonreiahnna i agree

her head to big for them and looks odd on her hahaha

  • superr cutee :)

    was that layers ?

  • What's the point of talking if we can't hear what your saying?

  • her heads kind of big for cornrows

  • whats that? i cant heaarrr youuu!

  • I tried to cornrow my white friend's hair and it looked like crap and it started coming apart the same day...I didn't know you had to use gel and I couldn't get it tight enough because the hair kept slipping out of my fingers.

  • can you do a video demonstrating the like cornrows on the front of the head to a bead per row making a headband across the spot on the head where headbands are typically placed just a few inches back from the face. do you know what i mean lol? and then all the hair from the beads back is down natraul with no braids like you could shower straghten and curl it there is only like the small amount of cornrows up front.

  • your a beast! :)

  • @mrswartz you can leave them in until you feel they look messy and need taking out but the longer you leave them in the more of a chance there is your hair will get matted together and then they get hard to take out =)

  • Comment removed

  • @Girdz17 I get what you're trying to say, but there is a difference in hair type and i think that's what the video meant.

  • @MariellaRivera yes thick hair thin hair long hair short hair fuzzy hair etc

    not black white chinese lmao

  • @Girdz17 nah the texture is different..harder to braid

  • @Girdz17 Black peoples hair is easier to corn row, atleast I think so. White peoples hair is hard to do, especially if they have thin hair. This is coming from a white person, just so you know.

  • @Girdz17 "white" people hair ia different Texture. Afro textured hair is extra curly so the hair strands hold onto each other. "white" hair is smooth, and that makes it harder for the braids to stay in. This tutorial is great

  • @Girdz17 not really m8 you dont no what your talking about ?? white people have different type of hair then black people fool

  • @Girdz17 yep

  • @Girdz17 its not the skin color we just have different textures of hair and ignorant people dont know you can do braids on all races.

  • @Girdz17 OMFG HOW IGNORANT ARE YOU we have different hair textures thats why GOD!!

  • @Girdz17 different hair texture i can braid way easier on a black persons head than a white persons it's hard cus their hair is soo soft

  • @FlowerRFabulous

Lol It's not that their hair is soft it's just that their hair lacks texture and has too much slip in turn making it hard to hold...

side note:how the hell did I end up on this video anyway...i was watching nail tutorials and ended up in braids...oh youtube....

  • @bwoodsfinest lol yeah that's it it's still to soft and silky i can barely grab hold but i see what you're saying

  • @FlowerRFabulous it ture

  • @FlowerRFabulous Please use a different word than black like darker colored skin please thank you.

  • @JustinShawtynumba1 Why should she? Black people call us white and we don't care. Yet we get called "racist" for calling African Americans black.

  • @JustinShawtynumba1 Why? She's talking about how black people have coarse hair. Some Asians have darker colored skin but they aren't black. Stop getting butthurt

  • @Girdz17 Its the texture and thickness of the majority of the different races. Some hair styles work better on different types of hair. People just sometimes refer to them as things like "White hair", "Black Hair", "Idian Hair", ect.

  • @Girdz17 I feel you but the hair textures are different.

  • @Girdz17

um actually there's a huge difference because white or other non black people produce more

oil in their hair so it's harder for the braider because it's quite slippery and might not stay braided as long

as a black person's hair. It has nothing to do with skin complexion.

  • @Girdz17 u idiot black people and white people have a different texture of hair.. thats why white people will NEVER have a perfect afro like blacks.. with a tattoo the only difference is the pigment in the skin color

  • @Girdz17 I understand what you're saying it does seem like there is no difference but as someone said because of the difference in hair texture it makes it "different". As a black female I find it easier to cornrow black hair than white hair because black hair generally is easier to grip because of the texture. Also it generally doesn't have as much movement so it won't slip out of place as much. So it is different when I cornrow my white friends' hair than my own.

  • @Girdz17 i guess different hair patterns require a different technique or something, hair patterns vary greatley, some being more common in some races than others

  • @Girdz17 damn, that one of the most retard comment ive ever seen here...and there are thumbs up..-_- black people and white people dont have the same hair....

  • @Girdz17 damn, that one of the most retard comment ive ever seen here...and there are thumbs up..-_- black people and white people dont have the same hair....

  • @xXxOUDYxXx eat a dick cunt ive gotten ten replys

" oh its the texture" jesus fucking christ

it was a joke u dumb cunt

  • White people shouldn't get their hair braided too much. The pulling from the braids causes their hair to break off around the hair line. Same with hispanics with soft hair. The hair that breaks off doesn't grow back, so after a while you can see the difference.

  • Is there a version without this gay ass song?

  • @krybabii16 read the description

  • So what options are there for a man at the end of the braids that leaves no tassel?

  • why it gotta be right haha

  • She's ready to go...TO DA CLUB!

  • lmao.. love the music! Very pretty

  • When your is braided, does that restrict you from taking a bath?.. ans. pls THX :))

  • how long do they last? i'm white and thinking about getting braids, my hair is about five inches

  • WANNA COME DO MY HAIR..LOL I M WHITE!! I LOVE CORNROWS!!!! WHERE U FROM??

  • Thats what I keep trying to tell people. It does not look good on white folks.

  • lol

  • i am a blonde white grl and i had my hair corn rowed for a while

  • When white people get their hair done in braids it doesnt look good at all. We have egg heads lmao

  • @NicoleHeckYes dats not true i get my hair braided n i look good so u must b speaking about urself

  • @lulujorge125 I still think that lol Never had my hair braided so I wouldn't know how I'd look.

  • You did a beautiful job. It sucks that they deleted your audio because of background music, though I still enjoyed the substitute song and appreciate that you left it up anyway. It doesn't look quite as intimidating, but I cannot figure out how to do that to myself.

  • Did you know the hair style that Jaden smith do? He do afro. But he Twist and pull back. Is it Cornrows? You upload this VID 2008. But now 2010. If you watch karate kid 2010. Jaden Smith do the hair thing. Please teach me and tell the name.

  • youtube is a bitch!!!

  • we all know white people are not meant to have braids in their hair, it doesnt look nice on them....just rediculous white people with cane row, and white people with dreadlocks, just rediculous!!!!!

  • @pbg98pbgpbg98pbg bull shit I love it.

  • @pbg98pbgpbg98pbg Anyone can have braids or dreads . White , black , asian ,....it doesnt matter . Your just beinq a racist jerk .

  • @pbg98pbgpbg98pbg that's ridiculous. We don't own cornrows, dreads

  • @pbg98pbgpbg98pbg what an idiot
