@lilv1987 Twists are a bit more complicated since there's less tension to hold the hair in place, but it can be done. You'd have to use rubber bands at the end to make sure they don't come undone.

So much talk about hair textures here :). The truth is people of caucasian decent can have anything from superfine, soft straight her to really thick afro hair. The latter is rare, but I have seen it. More common is very curly hair (e. g. Irish, Italian, Spanish decent). A good braided can master any hair texture. Personally I find the very straight, thick asian hair the most difficult hair to braid - the ends just do not want to stay in the braids. Extensions help with very fine hair.

As a black female I find it easier to cornrow black hair than white hair because black hair generally is easier to grip because of the texture.
