I credit this movie and Ferngully as the two major movie influences that made me grow up to care about the environment. Parents, please show these two movies to your children while there's still time, before they get brainwashed by shows that don't offer this kind of value. These movies were fun and I had no idea I was being educated until watching them again almost 20 years later. And their messages are still as relevant, if not more so, than they were back then. Excellent, excellent films.
Thank you so much for uploading this! I grew up in Alice Springs and saw all of the Dot films as a child. I am so glad to see them here and available again. I think my favorite was Dot and the Kangaroo, but this one was always fascinating for me with the ocean imagery!
What the heck? One instant Dot was hanging from the helicopter with Tonga, and the next she was off and watching from Ocean World. How on Earth did that come about?
I never knew about this movie, the two movies I saw was Dot and the Kangaroo(all tiem fav!!!) and dot and the bunny, so the rest of the dot adventuires is new, though I will admit, i am a bit confused as to which order these are supposed to be watched in
Words can't explain how happy I am to see this movie again! It was my favorite as a kid, as well as frog dreaming which I watched on you tube the other day too! Thank you so much!

Man, I haven't seen this in so long! This was definately a powerful movie, and I'd say it was the best of the Dot movies.

I didn't like this one so much when my sister rented it from the library when we were younger I thougt that Dot was kind of ugly to be honest.
