TO EVERYONE: I believe both The Matrix and Equilibrium to be amazing, both are Christian Bale's and Keanu Reeves's best movies. One is not like the other, one has Gun Kata, laws against emotion and realization of self.

Well, in the movie...Everyone has some sort of serum to rid them of human emotions. So, If someone doesnt take the serum and refuses too..they are ordered to be killed. I forget exactly what Bale's character is...but he stops taking the serum during the movie. I'll let you watch it and find out. Its been a really long time since ive seen it. But i do remember the movie being kick ass.
