  • the ultimate sleeper

  • so ur odometer doesnt work either huh dang must be a VERY common problem

  • @Coughenour1 Lol , MY odometer does not work either, in my 91! Oh well

  • @Coughenour1 i got a 92 Sc as well and the damn odometer does not work either -.-

  • i love the car. sounds sweet, especially the baby crying under the hood.

  • bye bye civics! :D

  • time to look for one of these to swap the engine into my 95 V6 mustang!

  • What kinda exhaust are you running?

  • Do I need to beef up injector/pump etc if you put 10% over driven SC pully?

  • @bluebearbank247 you dont need to but it be alot better if u did

  • this being a 10% sc pulley what is the actual size.

  • Auto is good I like it better but stick is fun lol there both cool I guess lolzzz

  • mine got wrecked last year but i still got her and im gonna restore her with the settlement money! Shes blk on blk,5spd all extras! Hope it ont be too much to restore her,she needs about everything

  • You have cold engine:/

  • So what is your 0-60 ? and quarter mile time ?

  • I'm the proud owner of a 1993 thunderbird LX its not the super coupe that I would like to have but it gets the job done!

  • @bowlingmanic2009 is it a 5.0?

  • @The85GTMustang No, it's a 3.8 Supercharged.

  • @Echoboy2002 no i was talking about that dudes 1993 LX i wasnt talking about the video

  • @The85GTMustang Ahhh... sry bro. Makes sense.

  • @Echoboy2002 ah oh well still an ok motor

  • @The85GTMustang . No its not a 5.0 its a 3.8

  • Thunderbirds are awesome they are a timeless car. they will stomp any ricer out there. So for those of you that have one keep them rolling. These birds will never go extinct.

  • @Ididyourmomonetime i have a 94 lx v8 sounds sick better than a civic or maxima. tbirds have better engines especialy the v8s

  • @Ididyourmomonetime It is done after 115mph and it is not that fast 0-60

  • Nice. Hey man, I hope you can help me out here, I'm thinking on buying an SC, but here in México spare parts are kinda difficult to find nowadays... How hard is finding those parts there in the USA?... I don't know, some online store or something that you may know would be interesting to know... Thanks in advance.

  • i have a 40anvsy yea its rare but sc is way quicker off the line.sorta kinda give the edge 2 da v8 on the 50mph roll but i might b wrong.sc has way more ptental.i wud get 1 but hate 2 lose dat v8 sound.

  • ive got a 1995 40th anniversary bird and its more rare then a super coupe.

  • On the highway, in 5th, you don't even have to downshift and you eat Beemer's, Mercedes and Porsches for lunch. Those greasy pussies are still trying to get the revs up while you are just gone.

  • i have an 87 turbo coupe,2.3,,i love it,keep the bird in the air man ,nice car

  • Im almost 16, I got a 1995 Lx Coupe waitin for me!!!

  • i wish they would bring back the old bird. what a car.

  • i looked up specs on these things and that supercharged v6 has A LOT of tq. if i had to chose between a supercoupe and a 5.0, id chose the supercoupe.

  • where did you get the pulley from???

  • Quick Bird.

  • Looks about right haha.. These fuckers pull pretty hard even when they're bone stock.

  • i run down 3 old ladys in one of these.

  • wats done to this car?? i have and automatic supercoupe and i can only get it to boost 8 to 10 psi. thanks

  • @pdoodly12 because he replaced the pulley ... more PSI. One of the quickest/cheapest mods you can do to a supercharged engine...just be careful and don't go too crazy or you'll be replacing your piston rings.

  • NICE

  • Takes me back to the days of my first car, a 90 SC 5spd. People were always surprised how such a BIG car could roll. Keep the bird alive, we've lost too many of them already.

  • @InsaneBimmer i had one like this : Champagne color, 5 speed manual. A beast! a real civic killer and V8 killer

  • @InsaneBimmer that is an extremely rare car man they are worth a lot now.

  • wtf that was too fast!

  • Nice. My stock 5-speed seems to pull similarly.

  • My bird is a twin to this one but the charger is out..but yea these birds can fly.shes my daily driver.

    Go Ford!

  • HOLY SHIT THIS THING IS FAST!! kick ass car!

  • do the v8 5.0s come s/c??

  • nope lol, i think a v6 sc wud be a better car all around

  • stock at least...

  • haha thx i dont even know y i asked that question lol i own a 91 mustang 5.0 and i was wondering if the thunderbird sc worked on it stock

  • a stock Super Coupe will beat a stock MTX SHO off the line, and will hold it till about 90, throw any mods on the S/C and you can kiss the SHO good bye.

  • yea cuz of that sc but the SHO loves the top end i wish they actually made mods for the sho i really like both cars though

  • @IntoxicatedPuma i've always wondered how the MTX SHO and a SC will fair, is this the truth?

  • @vortex2450 yeah SHO club guys are big fans of S/C's and vice versa so their are a lot of comparisons drawn between them, as well as the GM 3800 S/C cars.

  • @vortex2450 Puma is correct. At 90MPH the SC's monstrous bottom end torque isn't as relevant and the SHO can hold it's own. Stock to stock. An SC will barely pull on a SHO after 90. The SC is heavier but is better aerodynamically. At full pace, they were both fast for their day and are still not bad. BUT! Both cars are awesome with mods and more has been done with the SC so it is less expensive and more extensive on what u can do with it. Wanna race a modded SC/SHO? You better bring a FAST car.

  • What year SHO are you talking about? 1st Gen will beat this SC, 2nd Gen V* model is shyt.

  • 92 5 speed, Borla system... few other little mods... not the fastest on the block, but SC no match for it, and havent run in to many modded SC here.

  • Oh yea those SHOs were no joke. Hard to find in the New York area too. I seen more of the V8 SHOs and they're a pos. They sound nice and all that, but the V6 were faster when it came to top end. And the V6 were also a stronger motor.

  • Why didn't you edit out the first minute and a half?

  • Nice!!!! I have a 91 T Bird 3.8 V6 sc but it dont sound that good. I need a new booster gauge supercharger. Do you know of some places that have the parts??? And check my vid of my T Bird

  • chris22yo is right my mom has a 92 t bird with the 3.8 v6 and it had about 120k on it and he fucking head gasket blew that was a expensive fix but its fine now

  • Either way great vid on the obscure SC and the true power of the ford V6 SC. one of the best sleepers of modern day! no one knows what they are getting themselves into when they pull next to the "punk" in their "mothers" car HAHA! Hell ive hung with a Z06's at lights (mine is 5sp. with 3.73 gears) after 60mph well... not so much... lol

    500 character limit Sucks!

  • it is 100% auto... if you watch the boost gauge it does not loose boost at all during gear changes. auto = pegged, Stick = Boost/vac --> boost/vac every gear change as you lift off the throttle/depress clutch.

  • nice

  • Good vid is that an auto or 5spd? i just bought my 90 sc im the third owner was taken care of have a 5 pct pulley and dynatech chip exhaust and cold air comming soon chirps into second pretty hard (my fav gear)

  • about how much hp do those mods add???

  • And look at the oil pressure guage on this on

  • mine is still fine

  • ur Supercoupe sounds great i had a 89 that sounded that good also

  • nice vid.. you from fl ? , looks like you need to lubricate the rear left ARC sensor.

  • nice video :-)

sounds like your SC is pretty good condition too.

  • Wow sounds awesome
