its a good bass and is really worth pickups and preamp. There are many pickup options for this bass so do some research before buying barts,nordstrand,delano,kent armstrong,citron,reed james and more. then the preamp and I would say thats all you would need but the biggest sound changer is the pickups.

got the same bass, don't know if it worth modifying this bass for i don't like the way it sounds naturally. thinking about putting barts all around, and advice.
