@XeeChannel I used a regular blade screwdriver to score the pots where I, more or less, wanted the breaks to occur. I then tapped on the scored lines with the handle of the screwdriver to break the pots. Use sandpaper to make the edges safe for delicate fins. You can also use a rotary tool (Demel) to cut exact openings and such. This is much more cleanly accomplished if you soak the pots in water first to cut down on dust.
HI! May I ask how you fit the Marineland Penguin 100 filter into your 10g tank?? With all the pieces connected, the 'cane' of the filter extends 2 inches below the bottom of my 10G tank, lol.......... In your videos, it looks like your filters are completely upright!!!!!!!! Did you modify/remove a section? I tried removing part 7 from it, but parts 6 and 8 won't connect........ I don't know what to do, lol! Please help me XD
@3mmerz can i give u some advice (i dont have that filter but i can try) wat i do when a filter is 2 big, is i get a saw or something, and cut it, and if u try this, a few things, first, dont hurt urself, and 2 dont cut off anything important, so i hope this helps, like i said i dont have this filter, but i tryed ^.^
Thanks for the compliment. :) It looks a lot different now! I've added a ton of plants including a lilly that's taking up about a 1/5th of the tank! There's now 4 femme betta, a small crown tail male betta, 2 cory catfish (4 more soon,) 1 all black male swordtail, and about 10 ghost shrimp (I don't know how many are left as there were 12 and then the bettas ate a couple, heh.) I'm sure you can get your tank to look like you want! Just take your time, make a plan and go from there. GL!
how did you get break the pots to have clean edge?

Check my recent videos, I've gotten a new camera and the tank has evolved substantially!
The song is one of YouTube's available songs for audio replacement.
