  • I'm 32 yrs old, and my generation barely can handle this, I can only imagine those born in the 90's...cant even hear this!!!! this track is crazy dope!!

  • @jdubexpert 'Crazy dope' is 'good' right? I'm 46 and was 8 or 9 years when this stuff came out and thankfully discovered it in my 20s. If people give it a chance they'll get it. It's great music - what's not to like? :-)

  • Agreed, ssbbw00

  • This is the best, Quincy is a genuis

  • @ssbbw00 You are so right,

  • have you seen this videos...of.....

    write in youtube....

    UN NEGRO DESKONOCIDO,thanks,kis

  • yes we lost an angel!

  • undying melodies in the air, jazz is what life is all about

  • Smooth...thats all I can say

  • There will never be another Minnie Riperton. She was truly a one of a kind force.

  • i love music whether it is past, present or futuristic. there are artists who keeps this type of music alive. Roots, Badu, Scott, etc.

  • I never knew that was Minnie Riperton singing this song

  • he lost my heaven, and i was never the same anymore.............

  • wow, this song brings back so many good memories.great song and so much talent in this song.this is good listening, i love it!

  • Absolutely groovin baby. The pop music of today will never understand how to truly feel music in their bones.

  • One of my all time favs from Q. The voices of Leon, Minnie and Al are a perfect blend of harmony and the lyrics are haunting. (If I ever lose this heaven, I'll never be the same), The music is so melodic. It is soothing to my heart and soul every time I hear it. All these yrs later and it still leaves me feeling out there in my own place. When you think about it the lost of love can change the course of your life and you may never be the same. RIP Minnie, we miss you & still love you.

  • @DaddySweet100 I agree completely, it's so melodic and soothing... I lost my heaven 6 years ago, but when I hear these voices it's like heaven isn't lost after all...

  • @277sherey I'm sorry to hear that for you. There is nothing like a true Love. I once had one, but I f&*^%$ it up. The sad thing "sometimes" about love is this: Some people never see love when it comes their way, they only see it after it passes them by. I know, I've been there on both sides of that story. Peace to you 277sherey. I hope that you have the pleasure of a true love again. There is nothing else like it.

  • Minnies voice is well suited for the angels in heaven. she was too good for this earth, RIP

  • DAMN! Minnie and Al together?? genius!!

  • mmmmm.... gr8

  • "If you're lyin', keep on lyin' " few words so true have been written...

  • I long for the good old days when music was music and you had to be able to sing with all the enhancements singers have now. Everyone didn't sound alike you could distinguish one entertainer from another. Now its just pitiful that people get paid for a lot of bull s_ _ _ ! but then some people will fall for anything.

  • @janiah0104 yeah, its really the consumers to blame for it. As long as they keep buying it, the companies will keep selling it.

  • I remember this LP " Body Heat" like it was yesterday. I owned three of them because I wore them out. Played it till it turned white. When it got real bad my wife would go out and buy me a new one. LeChgeryl I still love you...

  • Soothing!!!!!!!

  • Everything Q touches - turns to gold.

  • @cecryerjr You got that right, my friend!!!

  • Is Chuck Rainey playing bass on this track? Does anybody know?

  • that has to be...

  • Do you have to ask? lol Nobody else sounds like that on the bass. Yes, it is the one and only Chuck Rainey. He played on a lot of Q's stuff back then.

  • @push555push The music will die of thirst waiting for another Minnie Riperton. She's a proud member of a bygone era that we'll never see again in our lifetime. I'm just glad I was there to appreciate this music and musicians like Minnie and Quincy when they were in their prime. The memories, wow, I just don't know how to explain it. This music takes me back to a place and time that I will never ever forget.

  • @push555push Yeah we lost that heaven-ly angel.....You are so right. I am tired of all the lick me up and down songs and bumpin' and grindin'. I remember when songs made you imagine what love was lke, not tell you about it and make you sick hearing about it!
