@johnnyocp Можно еще докопаться, что он второй вариант куплета не перевел, но видно же - перевод написан на достойном английском, а не на русском английскими словами.
"get more cheer" - ну не очень распространенное выражение, но существует и вполне имеет право на жизнь, в поэтическом переводе уж точно.
А как вам такая фраза: "Till your memories run dry"?
Excellent graphics. Unfortunately the film's message is mostly lies or cherry-picked facts. It's evident today but wasn't at the time of production...
haha this is post on russian written with english letters made from typical "socialistic words". but this post has no meaning. it looks like "Thank you, Comrade, this is good to look this socialistic struggle film "
Thanks for posting this film! During 1930's Great Depression the Soviet Union was powerhouse of world development. This because of correct application of socialist principles and central planning. Similar thing today in Red China. Good wishes to People of Russia. I notice in this film the famous Shukhov Radio Tower. A brilliant construction of that great revolutionary time.
@ksendzsurala Sure it's Russian, clumsily spelled with English letters. It says "спасибо товарищ. Это хорошо видёт(?) это социалистическое [...] кино!" - something like that. I'm not well-acquainted with misspelled Russian 1334-speak, or whatever that is.

@Niffiwan it's *kinda* Russian except for the mysterious word "baiba" which I dare not decypher

@ksendzsurala It looks like really bad Russian. I tried running it through Google Translate and it seems to say:
"Thank you comrade, its good to see this wonderful socialist movie."
