Let me get one thing straight, I dont like most cops...but, dereliction of duty in the Marine Corps didnt necessarily warrant a discharge.  I believe they should have received very stiff penalties, including fines, demotion, and suspension. But perhaps been able to make a case or plea to save their jobs if previous behavior dictated they deserved it.

Anyone who is in a position to hold others to higher standards of living who have the powers to enforce those rules, laws, and codes, and they do not live by the same standards, should be fired on the spot and never allowed to re-enter their previous position.

They should have all been fired immediately, without severance pay. They should also have been criminally charged bacuse joy riding in a department owned vehicle and tampering with the mileage on an odometer are both criminal offenses.Should I even ask why they weren't given speeding tickets as well when they were pulled over? We all know what would have happened had they been regular civilians who pulled the same stunt. Prison...

Fired, and if they had any personal integrity they would not come back even if they are reinstated. These guys don't diverse to be patrolling the streets of our city.

theft is theft cut off their hand and fire them all,they try to do what they want ,and they should have been charged and if they don't we should rally the police station till they get charged.we do so should they.
