I'm a born and raised Newfoundlander, I've hunted seals and enjoyed it alot. The meat is fantastic. What alot of people stupidly believe is that we just go club a bunch of seals, skin them and fuck off somewhere. We use every part of the seal. Most of us don't kill the baby ones, they look too cute, lol. But back in the old days they had to, it was the only way to survive the winter months when money was tight. At least we don't force feed and slaughter thousands of cows a day though, lmao.
We need to cull an additional 6 million seals in order to respond to global cravings of our beloved atlantic cod fish.
