He was 38-years old at the time of his death and had accomplished virtually nothing of any value. When his father was 38, he was sitting in the United States Senate. The only thing for which most people remember JFK, Jr., is the salute he gave to his father's coffin. It must be really tough when you reach your peak at the age of 3 and do not make any progress thereafter.
@mindspring57 -- John wasn't put on this earth for your approval or anyone else's. Do you judge the value of your family and friends by whether they've reached the Senate by the age of 38? Most people don't achieve much of value, as you put it, other than loving and supporting their family and friends -- which John did admirably. God only knows the joy he brought to his mother and sister just by being himself. By the way, did you earn a law degree from NYU? I thought not.
@ravenel2 No I did not earn a law degree from NYU, but I hold a JD and an LLM, and I am licensed to practice law in three states, all of which required me to pass a bar examination. For a person who possessed the material advantages he did, he accomplished little. What charitable causes did he support? Whose life (other than his wealthy family) is better off for having known him?
@mrmagicroundcircle The same advice might apply to those who, after 50 years, are still fascinated with the "Kennedy mystique," and who fail to realize that the word "Camelot" was not applied to his Administration until after his death (by Jackie in an interview with Theodore White). Kennedy was largely ineffective (Bay of Pigs, Vienna, Berlin Wall, civil rights, etc.), and is highly overrated in terms of presidential performance.
Omg!!! It does!! I got all these clips from a friend, and they must have gotten them from your video!!! I completely forgot!! I havent seen your Jfk jr. vid until today. Oh im sorry!! I really am!
this video was really, really good. <3
