That's really cool that it can be beached like that but I don't understand why a life boat would need to be able to do that. Do they beach them at speed when returning from a rescue for easier transfer for wounded or something? I see the tractor and collect it from dry land, water or in shallow. Looks like the thing the military would want though. Maybe 25kont beaching isn't normal practice and they are just doing to to demonstrate how robust they hull is that it can do that?
@Pooshooter5k In an emergency, they would only beach it at that speed in an absolute emergency - e.g. if there was a major, major problem with the lifeboat such as a fire or exceptionally serious risk to the crew and were near land. They wouldn't usually recover the lifeboat at that speed on a shout as it's just unnecessary. It's easier to beach it and then recover rather that on a tractor whilst it's still at sea.
@Pooshooter5k This lifeboat is primarily designed to be launched via a carrige system from a beach, rather than being launched from a berth in a marina, for example, like many other lifeboats. It also shows that the RNLI's all-weather lifeboats can be beached at a speed in excess of 25 knots and suffer virtually no damage.

@Pooshooter5k And you're right, it shows that the RNLI's lifeboats are strong and are still operational after being beached at its maximum speed.

Thats cool! Why does it need to be able to do that?
