How are you using the pod effects through your VH4? Is the pod set on a clean channel and going through your effects loop or something? Anyways your set up sounds really nice cant go wrong with a JC120 for clean tones.

Yea it's great gear, but if you wanna be a pro you have to get ur own style. Not someone's else's.

I used to be just like you. Had all the gear played all the met covers. But I grew out of it and eventually made my own style.

Te clean and solos part were awesome, but u messed the no one but me rif, there's no palm muting while doing fast triplets and you're playing wrong notes, but im sure you know about that already

@Pirre1981 Please answer :) Is it the Boss pedal you use to change between your Roland and Diezel? 'Cause im thinking of getting myself a Roland, and maybe have a distortion amp also, instead of a pedal that also gets the chorus effect when i would switch that on..

I'm also a Metallica Fan, but I'm young, and before considering buying expensive gear, I learn to play as much as possible as them, I place my hand exactly like James does ( hold the pick with 3 fingers and let the others down etc.. ), all those small things are also part of being a fan, buy all their stuff is not a prouve of high skilled player.

But youre lucky to have all of that ^^

get a mark v they are absolutely awesome i know, i have owned both amps and i stuck with the mark v absolutely incredible

but the diezel vh4 can get you there current live tone and death magnetic and st anger tone

but for all the older shit its in the mark v

including the later tones !

dont get me rong the diezel vh4 is a great amp but the mark v in my opinion is everyplayers dream amp !

but i seriously can get the mark v tones out of the dual rec if it is boosted

you just need to spend time with it like all mesa amps !

also the mark v just lacks the balls that i like as in thje big rectifier wall of sound

Send Ken Lawrencen an email and ask how many explorers he have made.. and he will say that there is a few of em out there.. but there is MANY great KL copys out there.. and they look almost like the real one.. :D
