  • I haven't had a ticket issue since I moved to new Mexico.

  • That's cleveland heights for ya.

  • Part 3: What other major metro area regularly has 25 speed limits on main roads with the most outrageous traffic law enforcement in america. In my entire life driving in michigan (16 years) I have got one points ticket (that was in high school). Somehow in my three years living in cleveland I got three. Yes, this was a major factor in my decision not to stay in cleveland. The extreme, excessive, and outrageous traffic law enforcement turns people off to your city.

  • Part 2: It is a money making scam, they know they will offer everyone a zero point plea (if you have an out of state license that doesn't help because your state gives you points anyway, from their unjust scam I got points). This is wrong wrong wrong and I cannot believe the people in cleveland put up with this. Yes this happened to me in 2001 but I am sure they are still doing it today. Other Cleveland area departments do outrageous things like this too.

  • Way to go Cribbs. It is about time somebody stand up to the Cleveland Heights Police. They are the worst police department I have ever dealt with. Their traffic tickets are nothing. They set up one of the worst speed traps in America. On Coventry Road the Speed Limit drops quickly from 35 to 25 and many people miss the sign. They have three cops stand on foot, one radar's, one pulls people over, and one writes the tickets. They sometimes get 9 out of every 10 cars.
