@scdpg i used to have it as a bootleg on a tape like 15 years ago. I almost thought i was mistaken and it was jill jones. but tnx to u im sure it was prince on it.
Woa! Now we know where Apple got the ideas for those iTunes commercials! Damn! When did you do this video? I can tell by the VHS 4:3 video ratio and colors bleeding that it was long ago.
@skyviolet - I agree, I have it as well and it sounds nothing remotely like this. The only thing they have in common is Prince's trademark "Minneapolis" sound.
@skyviolet Actually, if you listen real close to one of the dialog parts, you can hear Vanity singing "G-spot g-spot, where oh where can you be?", right after she finally gets her batteries *lol*
@skyviolet hey there, I would love a to get a copy of the unreleased Vanity 6 album. Would you be able to email me a copy ? Could you please get in touch with me? would really appreciate it.
The Sax, Bass & Keyboards are just delicious on this song and the vocals are just as curious as the subject. I heard the Prince version and prefer hearing the female version. What does prince know about a G-spot? lol
Well Prince's wild imagination probably came up with the song and its nothing wrong with him doing the bending of the envelop and having you think. I mean we know Prince is the MASTER so we can't question if he knows about a G Spot.
@dhillan85 When I read this comment all I could do was chuckle because it is so damn true. The man is beyond human. He is a BEAST both lyrically and musically. Who else could come up with that but him?!
Jill is hotter now than she ever was. She just recently released a club song for the dance clubs and I could'nt beleive how great she looked and her body is hott, still got that voice too.
This song was hot for Jill back in the day!!

read the lyrics as a paragraph...if you take the first letters of the each line...it spells out to FINALLY in the end...
that was the aim of the compostion...LOL...prince is a demon!

Prince pulls all his stuff off of here. I found a truncated 2 minute version on Limwire, but the sound quality isn't great.
By far, the best Prince video I ever saw on here was when he did "Motherless Child" from a concert performance around 1999 or 2000.
He's amazing.
theelectricman 3 years ago
Yes, I've heard the Prince version and it is better --his voice sounds --creepier it just fits the song better.

Prince did a version of this song, and he sings it way better. It's hard as heck to find it, though.
