  • I had a question about grip for these, is it better to have the forearms flat like in this video, or pronated (palms facing)?

  • It really doesnt matter but I find the swinging movement harder to do with the forearms in the flat position

  • DeFranco's Gym always has good music LOL had to say it......I hate going to the gym and hearing that master techno fairy mix crap!

  • looks familiar. My trainer has had me do these as a part of a kb complex, with presses, squats, and bent-over rows.

  • hey Joe,

is there any way i can do this with dumbells or any other piece of equipment since i do not have access to kettleballs?

    thank you.

  • dumbells should work fine in the replacement of kettlebells

  • Aside from a bar and plates, how is this movement different than a hang clean?

  • Hang cleans can be really difficult to learn, and have a high injury rate. This move is so simple. You can add weight easily, which means get stronger faster.

  • this movement focuses on developing explosive power from the hips and legs

  • totally different.

  • Yeah Kettle Bell Swing can create a lot of power in your legs and core. My Favourite piece of gym equipment. Keep your heart rate high enough to burn fat but still build muscle and strength. AWESOME!!!

  • Holy Shit! AWESOME Man!

  • We're the coolest!
