The Corvette is NOT the best GT1 racer ever, the Aston DBR9 beats it hands down, the only reason it isn't winning anymore is the lack of factory support.
All cars fall down the grid when factory support is removed, look at the Audi R10, all-conquering for the last 3 years, this year at Le Mans without factory backing, finished 7th and 9th.
Anyway, the Aston will always be better than the Corvette.

I don't think they should do anything with open wheel racing. It's unfortunate but it happens in racing period. Look at Nascar...fully enclosed, yet Dale Earnhardt still was killed. How many Forumula 1 racers were seriously injured or killed in the past 5 years?...only a few I bet. That's no reason to change the sport.
they should put a aerodynamic piece that goes over the top of the helmet that attaches to the headrest and reinforce the helmets. they shouldnt put covers on the f1 cars

I don't think they should do anything with open wheel racing. It's unfortunate but it happens in racing period. Look at Nascar...fully enclosed, yet Dale Earnhardt still was killed. How many Forumula 1 racers were seriously injured or killed in the past 5 years?...only a few I bet. That's no reason to change the sport.

they should put a aerodynamic piece that goes over the top of the helmet that attaches to the headrest and reinforce the helmets. they shouldnt put covers on the f1 cars

Definately awesome to see Schumacher return(admid less then favorable circumstances), now we finally get to see exactly how good Hamilton really is. Hmmm, choice between two exaust notes? I like that idea, looks like you now have a choice of how savage you really want your car to sound.

they should make fighter jet-like canopies for F1 cars. a canopy on an F-15E strike eagle can withstand a medium size birdstrike. if it can withstand a bird at 500ish mph, im sure it can withstand a large spring at 200.

The way Leo talks here, he makes it sound like Schumacher is returning to full competition, he's only covering for Massa until he's fit to race, which may be only two or three races.
I think he was an obvious choice to fill in anyway, he's stayed connected to the Ferrari team as an advisor, and still races amateur motorbikes, plus it's very good publicity for the team - "the prodigal son returns".

i'm willing to bet that Shumi hasn't lost his step. seeing as he's still a test driver/advisor for Ferrari and broke the track record for the fastest Ferrari on the Modena test track with the F430 Scuderia, i think he can still race an F1 car.

Schumacher reminds me of brett favre coming and leaving coming and leaving...choose one or the other!! 2nd I dont see why they cant leave open cockpits and just put roll bars in them, Ive seen drag cars crash at over 250 mph and the driver lived!! It wouldnt add that much weight and could save lives, btw Fast Lane Daily you guys rock and shakedown was really good today

they wanna add the protective glass thing so that they dont get hit by debris... roll cages are not needed since the scoop above the drivers head acts as one... now the odds of massa getting hit by that piece would not b stopped by a roll bar or cage but the other guy's tire to the face yes
