I was just always turned off by how cocky the guys seemed to be. Now I'm being judgmental because thats how they seemed. I knew a few guys that marched and They are great guys! Just as a line, and corps, I always got a "we're better than you vibe" EVEN when we would beat them in competitions. BUT This is great that they did a documentary! What a great things to have to remember the season by!!!

I'm a fan of the Devs, so take this for what's worth shane, but I'd give it a strong 8.5 - 9. Worth watching, & able to watch it without getting old quickly. some decent "extras" , but could a few more. Pretty decent sound & picture . May not be of much interest to someone who isn;t a fan of BD or DCI, but if you are a fan, then check it out.

BD makes the best DVDs, followed closely by the Cavaliers - other corps really need to see what these guys are doing, because they've mastered this stuff.

Oh yeah, the drumline is crazy good as well. Never mind people that say they're full of themselves, etc. I would wager most of those people never marched corps. They might not have won, but they were definitely one of the best in a very competitive field last year. Year in and year out, BD puts out a great corps. SUTA

almost is the key word. don't get me wrong...great talent levels every year in the BD line...but...06 was definately the peak year for this decade. this year...it's just not as interesting. Phantom and Cadets are starting to fill the gaps again where SCV and BD fell out. Same with the Cavies...it just hasn't been the same after 04. it might be staff...it might be a fluke...but we'll see.
