I remember 11 years ago on a Friday night walking out the movie theater with a couple hundred other people and everyone was talking about it. People were moved! That particular scene that ocurred between Grace and Pilgrim was poetry in motion and completely unforgetable ! The film had substance to it. The scenery, the people, the whole atmosphere - everything was so well arranged I loved it. The part in the begining with the horse...oh man I was shaking. You felt like you were there ! "C it!"
OK guys. I rented the movie, along with Speak and The Young Black Stallion, so I'm watching the end of the movie now. Explanation time for Kaylyn is over now. lol Thanks to everyone who did explain it, though.
to baylee93 this is a scene from the movie the horse whisperer two girls go riding in the snow and her friends horse couldn't make it up a steep hill and started sliding back down and ran into pilgram and grace the horse and girl in this scene and the go slide down to the road where an on coming truck is headed straight for them pilgram rears up and grace falls off and the truck crashes into pilgram and he loses all trust in a
One of the most touching scenes in the movie. You feel the trust rebuilding between Pilgrim and Grace. All the miles and hardship travelled to that one point in time are what life is about.
laying a horse down has its pro's and con's .. if you have a horse that bucks every time you saddle him . try laying him down with the saddle on then get on him
First thing that horse will do is buck again. You have to find out why he's bucking when you mount. *usually a green broke horse does this because it's unfamiliar with the extra weight on its back, but eventually learns to accept it as non-threatening.*
Rider and horse have to come to a "trust relationship" and that only happens by a lot of work together.
To help Grace, who had lost a leg in a horible accident on the horse, learn how to overcome her handicap and mount Pilgrim. You really should see the movie to get the full understanding of that moment.
i love this movie xD
