  • @MADSEEN2009 hey I thought you might know the very last words Ryder says when he's just about to fall to the floor do you know them?

  • holy shit, you guys working with Trovalta and Denzel together, can you make me welcome to the filmset please!!!!

  • "I told you we all owe god a death!!" Garber: "What!?"

Ryder: "And now I want you to shoot me before they do!!" Garber: "am not going to shoot You!!"

    Ryder:"come on motherfucker SHOOT ME!!"

Garber: "am not going to shoot You"

Ryder: "am dissapointed at You" (garber shoots ryder once)

  • yeah me and denzel worked on that scene for about 5 hours

  • WOOW cool shot, are you a spy ???

  • Holy shit!*cover my eyes*

  • wut is this?

  • the scene where garber kills ryder

  • excellent. !!

  • fuck they show this seen in the trailers. man now i ruined all the suspense

  • Man, this video gave away important plot points, damn! lol This takes away all the suspense.

  • faken dumb shit

  • you ruined the movie

  • come on its only twenty seconds, dont bother whit that

  • you see the shot of them on the bride anyway.. kinda obvious the two are going to meet face to face.

  • Actually one of the trailers for Pelham shows this scene. Travolta asks Denzel if catching him makes everything better to which Denzel replies no but it is a start.

  • wrong u dumfuck

  • Thats our helicopter you hear and in the background, did some more filming in the city yesterday, cool, regardless of movie quality.

  • lol im guessing this is the end!!! i guess when they catch the bad guy

  • Boy those extras sneak cameras in all day! lol

  • This is really looking like a politically correct version of the original classic.

  • this is the scene, where denzel and john made some negociations, john requested a certain amount of money,to release the hostages on the train, and denzel came to deliver the money in a briefcase,he has a gun so john wont shoot him.

  • As an Avid Subway Fanatic and a big fan of the orignal taking of Pelham 123 I hope that they do a good job with the remake. I know we don't have the orignal cast but i am willing to give this a chance. The TV Movie Version was horrible and the Subway didn't even look like it was a NY City Subway train.

  • lol that cause they did the 1998 movie version in toronto canada!!! Toronto has always been the hollywood version of new york when they need a big north american city

  • There's no such thing as an "MTA Agent". MTA stands for Metropolitan Transportation Authority. Maybe he's a Property Protection Agent. ;)

  • lol,maybe.

  • There is absolutely NO reason why such an exquisite movie should be re-made with lesser actors like Travolta and Washington.

The original soundtrack is outstanding, and if that is tampered with in this 2009 re-make, Hollywood is SICK.

  • i agree, manhattanchick, how awful that they are remaking this great film with our mediocre actors of today. the only reason tony scot is using washington is because the two have worked together many many times before. its all nepotism. and i am aware of the notoriously great soundtrack. this next time around we get a very mediocre score writer, who btw, has also worked with tony scot many times before. hollywood has nothing to do with art really.

  • lesser actors?

  • so i should compare Robert Shaw to john travolta? i can't even put these two names in the same sentence without cringing. OF COURSE LESSER ACTORS!!

  • wow, sucks to be you!!!

  • I already think this movie is going to stink judging by the cast and it's going to be politically correct judging by the previews I've seen so far.

The original was great becasue it wasn't politically correct (as was many movies around 1974) and all the actors had that typical "uncensored" New York attitude.

  • the scheduled release date is june 12 2009.

  • thats because you are a racist gashbit judging from your profile you dirty russian/italian bastard...

  • is this part of the making?

  • yessir! this is part of the making, that's denzel with john travoltra on the bridge.

  • i worked on this, you guys are all in for a treat.

  • If this is a scene from the movie then what the hell are they doing on a bridge? If the movie is to stay true to form the 6 train doesn't go over any bridges

  • The subway car they are using are modified R62As or R62s that are crossed between R142s

  • The original movie was funny hopefully the new one will be as well. But I prefer the original from 1978. I hope they don't make a remake of the Warriors to that would be wrong leave the classics alone!

  • You mean 1974.

  • This will be the 4th time Tony Scott directs Denzel Washington. They previously collaborated on the following films :

    1) Crimson Tide (1995)

    2) Man On Fire (2004)

    3) Deja Vu (2006)

  • All of which have been amazing. Tony Scott is amazing.

  • All of which have been crap. Scott is a hack. And Washington has already screwed up the classic Manchurian Candidate, now the Taking Of Pelham. Unbelievable.

  • I agree with Exile960. Tony Scott IS Amazing. A truly visionary and excellent director. Better than his brother Ridley I think.

  • You and Exile are either teenagers or your taste in movies is in your ass. "Visionary"! That is hysterical. Every one of his movies has been complete crap. At least Ridley has a couple winners in there.

  • ridley scott is much better than his brother tony scott, because ridley recieved or was nominated for 10 academy awards one for thelma and louise,he recieved 5 academy awards for gladiators, and recieved 2 oscars for black hawk down,i believe tony scott recieved an award for top gun and beverly hills cops 2,hopefully tony scott will recieve an award for this movie,im an extra in this film, and was also an extra in american gangster, hope this film is bananas.

  • dude. they are brothers no one better than other. and to let you know they work together. even if they dont tell.

  • 1st of all,im not a dude, and i was responding to the person, who claim tony scott was better than ridley,i was not referring to him as a person,im referring to ridley as far as his talents,in gods eyes no man is higher than the next,we are all equal,in gods eyes, but some of us are gifted more than others, and thats a blessing from god above, besides that, this film will be bananas, tony and ridley scott are both good directors, who i worked with.

  • scott free.

  • have you worked whit ridley and tony scott :O ????

  • yes,i was an extra in american gangster, and ridley scott, and billy dowd, casted me for the courtroom scene, and now i worked with tony scott, his brother,in pelham 123 as a m.t.a. agent.

  • weel thats my biggest dream !

im a HUGE ridley scott and Tony scott. pleeez tell me more :) i would love to hear evrything :D

  • what is an M.T.A. agent?

  • abbreviation for manhattan transit authority agent.

  • ok, cool. bet you had a rocking time!!!

  • When dose the new version of the taking pelham 1,2,3 come out?

  • The remake will be released on Friday, July 31, 2009.

  • july 24th

  • july 24th 2009

  • If it's worth doing it's worth doing twice, good luck to them, but what a classic film

  • looks like you caught a climactic scene!

  • Washington has to be in everything, doesn't he.

  • Why do a remake of this classic film?

At least this one is being in NYC. Remember the TV movie that was filmed on location in Canada?

Anyway, there's nothing like NYC circa 1974 with all the decaying infrastructer that lent itself beautifully to that movie.

  • Yeah, and I hate how they're replacing the hats, thick-rimmed glasses, and false mustaches from the original with the typical shitty "tough-guy biker" look.

  • This video is an obvious SPOILER for those who never saw the original 1974 film.

  • I hope they use the r142a subway cars for the movie they are so cool and they fit in with the modern day

  • God has blessed me to be an extra in another DenZEL washington Film,I also was in American Gangster,A dream come true,There was something magical about that message Denzel Engraved in the Ground In HollyWood,on Sunset blvd,He Wrote I Thank GoD! Wit his Hands and Foot PRints I took pics of it too,in 2006 when i returned to NY,I attended a Casting for American Gangster,Ridley Scott,Like my smile and my Hollywood bag,Im in Courtroom scene wit Denzel,& Russell Crowe,I hav 5 sec of Fame,I think God.
