@FerreiralovesFerrari 944's are reliable if they have been well maintained. I would not suggest buying one unless you or your father are a good mechanic, otherwise your dad is correct, they cost more to fix then they are worth. Looking at about $2000 to have a shop replace the clutch alone.
@ncsugray90 heh, a burnt up clutch in my 951 from all the street racing i did and the thought of how much it was going to cost to replace it was the determining factor in me selling it a few years back, but i'm about to come into a large sum of money soon...so hello again to another porsche 951 and 500 horsepower!

@DANATRINGWOOD lol im just messing with you man. i dont own an f250. i have a 944. its really not fair to generalize though. there is just as much a variety of americans as there is a variety of any other country's people. one of the biggest reason americans dont care as much is becuase gas, or petrol, whatever you wanna call it, is so much cheaper here. its sitting around $2.50/gal where i live right now, and thats way up from what it used to be a few years ago.

The clutch isnt what it used to be (most have about 100k on them) so thats why people are scared to treat them like that. I wouldnt treat my 944s like that just because i dont wanna replace my clutch or destroy expensive rubber. they are classic cars now and do deserve better then to be thrown around almost getting in wrecks. thats what hondas are for.
