@krillin2022 It only ended up costing me a grand, I bought nearly a whole wrecked evo and by selling all the parts I did not need paid for most of the project.
sorry to bust you bubble but unless you got a 1g talon eclipse laser or a 2g talon or eclipse you aint got a dsm. so dont make the real dsm's look bad by callin your stratus 1.
nice work now i believe its an awd. but honestly you should of gone with a 2g gsx with a 6 bolt 4g63 the body looks so much better and the engine has far more potential
You may want to do your homework, majority of the parts on this car are Evo 8, which lays waste to the old 6 bolts, and what would set me apart from everyone else to use a platform that already has an AWD option.

6 bolt 4g63 is still rated the 2nd best 4 cyl to come out of japan and rolls on evo pretty easily yes they put out more power but the sad part is evos are heavy same with the 3rd gen eclipse....

You are an idiot. It's a chrysler chasis. DSM was ended in 1995! It may have a mitsubishi engine and transmission, doesnt make it a dsm. Ford at one point used yamaha motors! doesnt mean there was a co-operative like the chrysler/mitsubishi venture diamond star motors.
Ok everyone is wrong about DSM, they did not take over or leave in 1995, DSM started in 90 and was stopped in 99, Also the engine is the only thing DSM made not the trans etc.

@eclipse93gst im not saying you're wrong im only saying i have no problems at all with mine. and honestly i beat the hell out of it. ive heard a lot about transmissions going bad and sludge build up problems in motors, suspension parts constantly going bad, ive just never had anything wrong with mine so i cant hate on the company... ive owned 3 dodges, a 95 plymouth neon pos, i junked it, 02 dodge ram van 1500, no probs and 02 dodge stratus, no probs. both been on many long trips, daily driven
stock ones im talking about you put money into it so yeah ist going to run faster its nice though man, he cant you fit in a tt 6g72 from a 3kgt into your eclipse?
the 3g eclipse gt has a 6g72 in it already. and instead of twin turbo chargers just have one normal size one (stock twin turbo engines use 2 small turbos) and youll make the same amount of power. or you could just install a supercharger.
Do you have a link to a buildup thread or something? This is amazing. Its the 3g Mitsubishi should have built in the first place. A 3g that would have done DSMers proud! Props to you for making the sickest 3g eclipse ever!!

It would? Why would it? the 3g is the heaviest of the dsm's, next just because it's an evo motor doesn't mean a 6 bolt cant mod his out?
stock for stock yes, the evo 8 came out better. in the end the 4g63 is a good motor and always will be mivec is the only diffrence between the motors.

Being a Mitsubish doesnt automatically make it a DSM...its a DSM if the drivtrain was manufactured in the Illinios DSM plant...

1g and 2g are both 210 stock 160 N/A versions.
