Wayne is amazing. I love his work and respect him huge! But one problem. He has his cake and eats it too. He says "do as I say, not as I do". Because all the things he teaches that are no good, he does. Works obsessively, has tons of material possessions, huge family, makes millions, always striving for more. What gives? Isn't that a hypocrite?

For a man that talks about releasing the ego, he sure likes talking about the famous people he's met, the places he's been, the accolades he's received, and the money he's made.

@rentintin2000 Are you referring to Jesus the Christ because people have ears itching to hear what He has to say? Remember another 'old' saying - 'Think for yourself. Otherwise you have to believe what other people tell you.' Being Fearful to listen to your own Guidance is what Wayne is attempting to convey - same as Jesus was attempting to do until those who think like you had Him murdered. Open up a little - get past the Fear. Peace to You also...

i am not sure about "self help" for me. i think my life will suck no matter what because God is a dick out to get me. however, of all the people in this field i have seen, i like Wayne Dyer the best. i watched this special, just do not think it can apply to me, but the fact i watched it says a lot about this guy. i like his laid back style vs Tony Robbins RAH RAH style.

Dr. Dyer isn't out for a fast buck. I've been a student/teacher in this field for half my life and there are maybe three or four people I trust completely, and Dr. Dyer is one. Krishnamurti and Alan Watts are also for real. Most others are frauds. Eckhart Tolle felt the need to change his first name to Eckhart, still I don't hold it against him. His books seem more powerful than his public speaking, as he sounds a little like our Senate Majority Leader, Dingy Harry, as RL calls him.

I watched it. I loved it. Wayne Dyer has inspired me countless times and fills me with such motivation and hope. I would recommend him to everyone. So many people could benefit from the messages he is trying to share with the world.
