at first just counter attack the smog even if they're not attacking and then dodge to the back and then counter attack it again then dodge when it tries to attack and then counter attack and be sure to use the knife because its the fastest weapon on silent hill homecoming

That's why I'm watching all these, to get the story liine, because right now, I don't have enough money to get a 360 or any other new-gen console (let alone all the games I want to play for them). On BonersGames main website he has the endings for SH5. One is the bogeyman ending, the other the UFO one (I don't know how to get either, obviously).

Was it the first time you played the game, Pyro? Silent Hill games make a point of you always getting the first ending the first time around. Then when you play the second time, you can unlock additional endings. I always felt that the UFO endings were there to reward people who could stand the horror so many times with something lighthearted.

Is it just me or did they put less thought into the symbolism of the enemies in this game than normal? i.e., other than the name and coming out of the ground, I can't see how the Sepulcher boss represents someone buried alive.

I mean, I have a few ideas, but they're kind of a stretch, so if anyone sees anything I'm missing here, I'd like to hear it.

Sepulcher's the boss, represents someone that was killed by being buried alive. Like I said, apart from coming out of the ground and his name (a sepulcher is a tomb) I don't see any real symbolism of his design.

A tomb has more than one person in it usualy. That is the bags. Dead people and a few unlucky alive ones. He was in the ground(the tomb/burried) and was alive. He must have rotted wile alive (the aperiance). the read atuff ment he was in a bag (the bodies were). The black stuff on his mouth is eathr dirt or blood. there you go. an explenation.

Well, like I said, this'll be a spoiler, but since you asked...

Sepulcher is the representation of Bartlett's son, Joey (kind of like the Abstract Daddy in 2 represented Angela's father). In accordance with a ceremony called for by the Order, Bartlett sacrificed Joey by burying him alive. So basically, Sepulcher was returning the favor.

scarlet was beheaded, so she just returned the favour by biting her dads head off, u also see in one of the childs drawings of scarlet lying on a bed with her head chopped off, also ashpyxia being fused is supposed to represent a bad relationship, which is what she had with her mother, also ashpyxia is 4 fused bodies, representing the 4 dead holloway children.

Oh damn, and that monster isn't even the "main boss." Love the transition between the foggy world and the otherworld, which was in the movie. But I can see a lot of movie interpretations in this game; the transforming the main one, but the nurses too. I love how he fainted after the battle. LOL. I think I'd do that too.
